Getting appointments has been easy with their online system and everyone from the front desk to the vet techs have all been kind and great at their job. I have no worries that my cats are getting the best care and they love Dr. Ferris.

4811 Central Ave NE, Columbia HeightsWhat a welcoming and delicious place! I've been here 3 times, usually in mid-afternoon and it's always been good. The food is so well seasoned, not just with heat, but rich with cardamom, ginger, tumeric, coriander, all those aromatics that make each bite unique. You can things hot spicy if you want, too! Plenty of chilis and sauces to add variety to your plate, along with fresh fruit and pickled vegetables. Chai tea available on tap. The staff is super welcoming and attentive, but not intrusive. The only weird thing is that every time I've been there there's been bull riding on the big TV. My visits have been spread out over many months, who knew there was that much rodeo to watch. At least it's consistent! My favorites were the chana masala and the goat curry (I'm not usually a goat/lamb person, but the flavor, wow!) and all the sauces at the side bar really elevate and enhance everything.

They have given everyone who follows them on social media opportunity to purchase gift certificates at great prices and their prices are very reasonable for the high quality of their products. Service is always a pleasant experience for everyone I have ever seen when in their store! Friendly and helpful service, answer questions about their products etc. The store is very clean and they have such a small entity and do their best to keep things clean. Their Pizza is also available at the VFW on 45th and Central! Thanks Pizza Man, I see that as a community joint effort!

Sarna's Classic Grill
3939 University Ave NE, Columbia HeightsThe other week, I was in the northern metro suburbs and started to get hungry. I drove past Sarna's Grill in Columbia Heights and, judging by the building's welcoming appearance, decided to park and give it a try (though I know that doesn't necessarily mean the food or service will be good).\n\nThat said, my decision was bolstered by the spacious, inviting interior, wide aisles, booths filled with couples and families, and the waitstaff delivering trays of appetizing food.\n\nA friendly waitperson greeted me at my table and offered me a menu with a variety of options, from burgers and salads to complete meals, including pasta and hot turkey or beef.\n\nI chose the BLT on artisan whole wheat with a side of coleslaw. It looked so tempting that I took a bite of half the sandwich before realizing I hadn't taken a picture of the food. What you see in the attached image is the mouth-watering inside of the delicious BLT.\n\nAs it turned out, I had an hour to kill. After finishing my meal, I asked if I could hang out for a while. The friendly waitperson said I could stay as long as I wanted and brought me a cup of coffee to pass the time.\n\nThat kindness made my day and earned her a nice tip. Plus, I promised to return the next time I'm in the neighborhood.
