“We got married at Watson Block in June and had such an amazing wedding! From the beginning to the end the staff was incredible! The day of the wedding I didn’t need to worry about a thing, everything was taken care of and looked beautiful! I will always recommend this venue to anyone looking for place to get married! I had a very scary situation that happened to me near here, the staff helped me get things situated and sorted out. They checked on me often and were so kind and nice. I regret that I didn’t write down the name of the server but he was blonde and I think he had glasses. I was super impressed with the fact that not only did the staff check on me and my table often but so did the manager. You just don’t get that type of service nowadays and it’s the first time I’ve experienced that kind of service all my years living in Minnesota. It truly turned a very sour day into a great one which was what I needed :) !”
“As a wedding photographer, I would highly recommend Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens to any couple searching for a picturesque wedding venue. The riverside views are absolutely beautiful, and the property offers so much variety for portraits throughout the day. From the ceremony space overlooking the water to the reception area and all the little tucked away spots for photos, everything photographs so naturally and beautifully.
I’ve always loved how peaceful and intentional the atmosphere feels, but what really sets Leopold’s apart is how truly amazing their staff is. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure their couples are taken care of, which helps the day run smoothly and makes such a difference for photos, too. “Beautiful lake, with well defined walking paths. Integrated art sculptures add cultural interest. The inside art gallery and coffee shop with a large patio make this spot a lovely morning or afternoon destination. Evening walks are so peaceful. People of all ages can enjoy the beauty and wildlife.”

“I've photographed 3 weddings now at FIVE Event Center and have had nothing but great experiences every time! Robyn and all of the staff have been exceptional and the space it absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. The two getting ready spaces are very convenient and both the upstairs and downstairs have great spots for portraits and other photos. Additionally, there are some beautiful outdoor areas that are walkable too for a variety of photos. Looking forward to shooting here again!”

“When I was wondering around The Machine Shop, there was a soft glowing reflective goo near the back sort of by the bathrooms. It was making a sort of humming noise and I couldn’t help but feel drawn to it. The closer I got I realized it was a portal and I have always wanted to see one in real life. I went through it and ended up on this new planet, there was nothing but snow and ice. Luckily the portal went two ways other wise we would have been stuck forever. Keep an eye out for it, I guess people say it’s not open often and when it is open it’s not open very long at all.”

“This place, along the Mississippi, is such a relaxing place to watch the River Rats Waterski Show. They offer concessions, but I bring my own picnic basket, as do others. The large grassy area is on a sloped bank, but you can still find a sturdy place for your lawnchair or blanket. Plenty of trees if you need shade.”
“Fantastic place. I won a gift card to Vinaigrette and they were beyond helpful. They let you sample the oils first, know their stuff about what oils go with what dishes, and are extremely friendly. We've become return customers. They also personally delivered to our place many miles away. Can't say good enough stuff about this locally owned business.”
“We held our wedding reception at North Garden in October of 2023. Ryan and Tina could not have been more gracious and helpful in executing our perfect day. We had an unexpected issue with one of our vendors as the reception began; Ryan, Tina and their staff jumped right in to help us problem solve a solution, which we could not have been more grateful for. The space is a perfect size for all types of events, and Ryan's prior stage management experience is invaluable in helping to create the perfect internal atmosphere for whatever the space is being used for. We cannot recommend North Garden Theatre enough, and wish we could give more than a 5 star rating!”

“I just got married on 9/7/25 with a small intimate ceremony in our back yard, and had our reception at Brookhall Event Center. Best choice we made!! We are regulars at the bowling alley next door so we ended the night bowling! Michelle was fantastic to work with, asked all the important questions and made sure it all went through smoothly. Gave all her input where needed, as I was definitely decision fatigued! Inna was our day of coordinator and she was great as well. So sweet, so personable. We had so many compliments on the food too, it was so good!! This venue is affordable, but you do not lose out on the magic. THANK YOU SO MUCH!”
“My wife and I just had our wedding reception here and Perfect is the only word that kept coming to mind when I started trying to sum up my experience. However everything was too good to accurately describe with the word perfect. Setting up our event was totally stress free. The staff was so professional and helpful and kind. I could keep going but I want to get to the food before you get bored and stop reading. It was roll your eyes back into your head delicious. And we kept our menu simple. Every expectation I had was exceeded by orders of magnitude and I had high expectations. Do your event here. You will not regret it.”
