“SUCH nice people! I ran out of gas a few miles from town, and without the help of Byron, the Dalton Corner Store owner, and his wife, I would've been in serious trouble. First point in their favor: they keep empty jugs specifically for gas emergencies, so I didn't have to buy a separate container or funnel. In addition, the corner store owner took time out of his day to give me a ride back out to my car -- AND he helped me make sure the gas made it into my tank!! 100% recommend supporting this small-town stop.”

“I was in the area on a road trip and needed a fix for a slow leak. It was done in no time and for next to nothing. Free coffee to boot, and my dog was welcome. This is a special place.”
“The Outpost Smokehouse has some of the most delicious food you’ll find in Fergus! Their brisket, pulled pork, and sausage are all top-notch when it comes to bbq. And the sides are phenomenal! Probably the best loaded potato salad I’ve ever had. We also love the Mac & cheese and cucumber salad.”
“We have relatives that live in fargo, and this gas station is about halfway for us. We stop here frequently and have always been happy. We use the bathrooms and get snacks, gasoline, and drinks. They have good to go food and baked goods to go. I'm particularly fond of the scones :)”
“They have a large variety of options in the store and a nice little deli with hot food and weekday specials. I just wish they had a current menu on their website so a person knows what options they have for deli items. We live veryclose and go there often, but have to call to check menu options and specials.”

“This is the Arco station but it is better known as Lakeway Express. They have a ton of products and basically everything you need on your way to the lake. Also a hot deli with Broaster Chicken.Fairly priced, smiley faces and good service.”

“It's locally owned and has friendly owners. I'm looking forward to seeing their facelift, which is currently in progress. I always get gas here when I'm in town. During the summer, you can also get locally grown produce and discover what's happening in Dalton.”
