About Car Tune
Car Tune is a highly experienced and trustworthy auto repair shop specializing in mechanical, electrical, and foreign repairs. They service all makes and models, offering engine performance tuning, upgrading, rebuilding, and custom work. The shop is known for its expertise in a wide range of repairs, including suspension, brakes, transmissions, engine diagnostics, electrical, computer networking, and tires.
Customers have consistently praised the shop's owner, Zach, for his exceptional skills, honest approach, and reasonable pricing. Zach is described as a young man with old-school expertise, who takes the time to explain issues and provide a range of solutions to suit the customer's budget. He is commended for his quick turnaround, often completing repairs within a few hours, and for his willingness to accommodate customers in a jam.
The shop's nondescript appearance doesn't reflect the quality of service it provides. Customers have found Zach to be reliable, trustworthy, and unwilling to overcharge or "hustle" them, particularly important for solo female customers. With a focus on maintaining vehicles to be safe and dependable, Car Tune has earned a reputation as a trusted neighborhood shop that customers can rely on for all their automotive needs.

Zac is an incredible asset, not only to the Lakeside community, but for Duluth as well.
He does quality work and he is going to be my first check when it comes down to work being needed on our vehicles.
Go local and lets keep our community businesses strong.

Starter went, got stuck at the gas station on a Thursday, towed it over on Friday and had it done by Sunday surprisingly! Didn’t think it would get worked on until Monday. Also had some messed up battery cables he noticed and had those changed. Awesome having a great mechanic a couple blocks away. Very grateful!
