“Prices are so much better at Costco than any other pharmacy I have experienced. The text message alerts that I opted in to tell me when my prescription is ready have not worked and I do have to keep circling back to the pharmacy if I'm there shopping or I have to keep calling to ask about it. However, I get prescription here whenever I can just because the price is always better.”
“THANK YOU to the gentleman pharmacist (should have gotten his name) working today, 7/22/22 around 3 p.m.. My NEW doctor prescribed a NON-insurance covered generic Metformin XR which he caught and, after discussing the problem, filled the normal insurance covered prescription I had been using. He explained the doctors don't know insurance coverage and I explained I recently changed doctors (and why). I am so used to paying high prescription costs and probably wouldn't have even noticed if this pharmacist wouldn't have caught the error. “Well in Duluth for our 16-year wedding anniversary my wife needed to get a prescription filled that I already been filled at our main pharmacist down in twin cities. The pharmacist at this location was super helpful in getting the prescription transferred it was an hour had it filled for us The staff was all super friendly and made it a nice experience and trying to get the prescription filled.”

“Sam is an absolute gem of a human being! I called inquiring about a product: Sam was amazing, empathetic, kind & so helpful! She didn’t have the items I inquired about in stock (as it said online, but I was desperate, so I called to double check) but she was able to find the items for me & hold them til I could get there, once they became available again! I will always shop at this Walgreens in particular now & it’s not even the closest one to my house; But the service here is phenomenal, so it’s worth it! Derek was also amazing, super friendly (even 10 mins before close with a line 5 ppl deep) & helped me find the items on hold when I was able to make it there for pickup! Absolute above and beyond basic customer service & it was so appreciated!! Thanks again guys, you were both a tremendous help & I won’t forget it!”

“The pharmist went above and beyond. I’m a diabetic and take Mounjaro which has worked wonders for me. I usually get my meds thru a mail order pharmacy which is cheaper with my military retirement coverage. However, they are more than a bit “iffy”. My current refill from them was received frozen, i.e. useless. After a week of jumping through hoops with them they canceled my replacement order and said call your doctor and go local retail. My doctor sent a new prescription to Kenwood Walgreens. However, seeing the other pharmacy had billed insurance, having a new additional prescription filled was understandably canceled by my insurance. The pharmacist at Kenwood Walgreens made the necessary calls and got me a new prescription that my insurance would cover. He then called me personally and explained the situation. The prescription was ready for pickup in less than half an hour. I did not have to go without as I had feared requiring a need for manipulation of my other meds. Great work by the pharmacist proving he was much more than a “pill counter”. His extra efforts and work is very much appreciated.”
