“Okay, I never leave reviews but I absolutely need to in this case. I am 28 years old and have been on certain prescriptions my entire life. I have ALWAYS used Walgreens to fill prescriptions until about 2 months ago, I switched to this cub location on town centre. When I tell you guys I am beyond blown away by the service quality here, that is an understatement. Walgreens made me jump through so many hoops to do simple tasks and the staff here at this cub location make everything so easy, they’re pleasant to talk to, seem like they enjoy their job, always happy to help, and offer overall exemplary customer service. I didn’t even know a pharmacy had the capacity to be this friendly/helpful…I always thought pharmacies were like going to the DMV lol but I was so wrong! I was just not at the right pharmacy!! Every single person who works in this pharmacy needs a raise. Amazing job. You have found yourself a new lifelong customer. I’m never going back to Walgreens.”

“We have a few kids on ADHD meds and if you have had to deal with this- it's a headache at best. If you don’t have a competent and helpful pharmacy, it takes an already challenging situation and just compounds it. Cub has been great! They always go above and beyond to help. If they don’t have the med in stock, they will look and tell me a Cub location that does have it in stock- which saves me a lot of phone calls trying to find the med. They also have better hours than some pharmacies in the area. The only complaint I have would be the older gentleman pharmacist who far oversteps his position as a pharmacist and asks uncomfortable questions about why the prescription was prescribed for you and what you need it for. Don’t love being interrogated when picking up a prescription the doctor wrote for me. (Not a controlled substance or pun medication) Other than this man, we have had great experiences here!”

“The pharmacy is really great every time I’ve had to call or needed help the pharmacist has always been super nice kind friendly and very helpful and answers all my questions never acts as if I’m bothering him if the were out of a med the pharmacist found a different sams pharmacy for me to get my medicine from I feel the pharmacist goes the extra mile”

“I typically don’t prioritize sending feedback about my shopping experiences, but in this case, I want to recognize a staff person who truly made a difference and helped impact a milestone 60th birthday celebration for my husband. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she’s a cake designer who worked on both Saturday and Sunday, October 6–7, 2025. She was wearing an orthopedic boot, which should make it easy to identify her.

Planning the surprise party brought plenty of last-minute anxiety, especially finding the perfect cake. I had spent hours searching for just the right image and settled on a photo from a Dead concert at the Sphere, with John Mayer’s hand playing guitar a focal point that was surrounding by vivid, psychedelic mix of colors. After a few unsuccessful attempts to place this kind of order online (apparently only available as a walk in), I came into the store near the 2pm deadline for next day service.

This staff member immediately understood what I was aiming for and used her cake designer’s “eye” to bring it to life. She suggested splitting the image in half using the baker technology to achieve full image coverage on the cake, offered creative guidance on messaging based on other things I had, and helped finalize a matching set of cupcakes (and quantities) with gray and red icing to coordinate with our cookies. Her patience, creativity, and understanding turned what had been a stressful situation into a truly joyful one. The guests loved the cake and cupcakes—there wasn’t a crumb left (some guests had two or three pieces!).

What she did was her job, but the patience, understanding, extra creativity, and genuine care were all the customer service ‘wows’ that made the difference – a difference worth letting you know about! Please do let her know that her small acts of kindness and assistance definitely eased my anxiety to help make my hubby’s surprise party a huge success. Having people like this at Sam’s is the kind of experience that forms brand or store loyalty. It’s Sam’s Bakery forever for us!!!

“I came into the store tonight to pick up photos. Gabe saw me approaching the counter and very quickly assisted me. Gabe’s tone of voice and demeanor was very calming and polite. Gabe then came to my rescue again when I went to check out with some candy at the main check out which was a little busy. Gabe gave 10/10 customer service and was just all around a good person.”

“Staff have always been very polite and helpful. We use the automated refill service and it has always worked well for us. When there was a holdup on the original time for the prescription to be ready one time they let us know immediately via text.”

“Very good very professional they told me it was gonna take me a half an hour to get my patient’s medication and I had no problem with that. They were able to verify insurance within a very few minutes and I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes with the medication for this disabled vet!

I had just been up the street to CVS on differently and johnnycake. I believe I was there for well over an hour before they could even figure anything out and then I got yelled at by one of the Pharmacy employees that I was breaking into their lunch, I was breaking into their lunch and I was there an hour before that Sitting outside in my car very patiently.

“Unfortunate that others have had negative experiences here. I think Wade is a top-notch pharmacist. He knows my family and has our prescriptions ready when we come in. He goes above and beyond. Last weekend, I had a script that was sent to be filled 15 minutes before the pharmacy closing time. Wade called me to ask if I planned to pick up before closing that night. If yes, he'd have it ready. I didn't want to wait til morning so I said yes, I'd be there. Wade had me pull in the drive thru and I got my meds before closing time. As long as Wade works here, we will continue to use this pharmacy.”

“We have been using Hyvee Pharmacy since it opened and appreciate their knowledge and expertise. This week I had 2 prescriptions filled, one a monthly refill and other a old prescription they had to call in to my doctor to renew. The 1st confirmed available the same day Sunday. The other one that needed my Doctor's response with a new-old prescription was available for pick up at Hyvee the following day Monday! I walked in to no line at the Pharmacy counter, I was greeted with a smile by a Pharmacy employee, and within 2 minute had my prescriptions paid. She requested I shift to a private window to gain insight from the Pharmacist on these 2 meds and potential combined effect. It was great to have the Pharmacist take time to consult with me. My Granddaughter had worked at a Pharmacy in Bloomington as an intern for 8mo. I understand the challenging roles each have in the Pharmacy and the importance of teamwork. “I've shopped at this Walgreens for many years. It's not as busy as some other Walgreens which I enjoy. The store's aisles are uncluttered, the store is well stocked and the store is clean. I had an especially good experience today at the photo developing department. I was making photo books and I had not made them before. I had several questions during my time there. The photo department employee who helped me has worked there quite a while and she was very patient with my many questions. I ended up making and buying four photo books. They turned out even better than I expected. Also, I thought they were quite reasonable. Recently when I bought a new home printer, the salesperson who helped me said that I would still have better luck to have my photos developed at Walgreens, instead of printing those photos at home. He was correct.”
