“I first walked into the IDC during the height of the pandemic and said I needed to furnish a newly purchased townhome, that I knew what I wanted but that I intensely dislike shopping. During the following months Dawn and Denise could not have been more helpful. They not only heard what I was saying, they listened. My time was never wasted and I was never pressured but was shown items in keeping with what I had said I needed and wanted. I do not live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area so considerable communication took place by phone and email with Dawn always keeping Denise current as related to items under consideration and decisions made while Denise did the same with Dawn. Not once was there even the slightest miscommunication. When we learned due to the pandemic the factory in Finland had stopped making dining tables and chairs Denise contacted someone at the factory to ask if they could please make the one table and 4 chairs I wanted from stock on hand AND THEY DID!!! I was grateful beyond words to think she had done this and that those at the factory had agreed. Three times Kevin and Rick delivered items to my home and each time I was impressed by their work habits. Kevin is extremely skilled/talented and a strong leader and I appreciated how he appropriately mentored Rick relating to why things were being done as they were. Every piece was placed exactly where I wanted and I know had I not been happy they'd have moved them. Whether ordered from Finland or Norway or bought off the floor, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the many pieces from the IDC and as important, could not be happier with the experience I had working with Dawn, Denise, Kevin and Rick. They were exceptional.”
“The staff is friendly and helpful. They get busy at times but they are willing to help find what you are looking for if they are available. Last time I noticed more people working there so you will more than likely get help. Overall, it is a great store where you can find anything you need to organize your home. A majority of their products are plastic material”

“I was there to help a friend out who bought some office items but of course my friend forgot to put the dang receipt in the bag. The staff was not able to return all of the items due to store policy however they did return a substantial amount of items. That made my trip worth the effort. They covered my mistake (by not making sure the receipt was there) and for that I am grateful. I hate wasting my time. So bravo to the staff for their efficiency and tact.”
“I stopped by for the first time today. I was looking for a few pieces of furniture. This was the 4th furniture store I stopped at today.The furniture is well made, you can feel the quality and difference compared to the other stores. The style of it is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The furniture was mostly really comfortable. The knowledge of the staff is unmatched, they’ll go out of their way to help you.My only complaint is the price for the furniture. But I don’t think it’s overpriced, all their stuff seems to be made really well. You get what you pay for and this is definitely not cheap pressed wood like many other stores have.”

“I really like this location because it is very centrally located; easy to get to. Most of the time they have what I need and they have the framing department. The employees are always friendly except for one (don't know her name but she has been there a long time and is always serious and grumpy). Management is very accommodating and they understand what it means to provide good customer service. They are very efficient at the cutting counter; making sure we all get our fabric cut accurately and quickly. The only thing I wish for this store, is that they would remodel it like Apple Valley. The Edina store really needs remodeling, I'm sure the employees area (lunch room, lockers, etc) could use it too.”
