The restaurant is always clean, nice, and well kept, which I appreciate. It is not a flashy place, and honestly, it does not need to be. It has more of a get-in, get-your-food, enjoy-a-good-meal kind of feel. The service is always fast and efficient, and the food comes out quickly, which makes it a great option when you want something easy and dependable.
The portions are big, and the prices make sense for what you get. You definitely do not leave hungry, which is always a win.
This last visit, there was a little misunderstanding with my order. I was expecting a bean and cheese burrito, but it came out with cheese sauce on top instead. I did not mind it at all, and honestly, I had never had it that way before. It ended up being an interesting twist on a pretty classic order, and I actually enjoyed trying it a little differently.
Overall, Don Julio’s is a clean, quick, dependable place with good portions and efficient service. It may not be fancy, but it does what it does well, and sometimes that is exactly what you want.
