I feel that a lot of auto shops take an advantage of women not knowing about cars. The auto shop on Conway sent me pictures of my vehicle and the maintenance information. Sent me quotes via email. Explained my bill to me. I can say that I am very satisfied. “This is my auto repair shop, 4 visits. They are very honest. The first visit was due to a front brake that physically broke. I thought both brakes should be replaced (like headlights etc.). They checked the other brake and it was fine; they did not replace it. Many other shops would say both should be repaired but Midwest said no. It's still fine years later.Last visit I needed complete suspension replaced and fix my cruise control. I told them I wanted them to check over the car as I wanted to drive it another 50K miles. They fixed the cruise. A sensor on the muffler caused engine light to go on and that disables cruise. They checked everything and did not appear to rack up repairs. My car hood didn't close right before that visit. It closes perfect now! They just replaced little rubber washers the hood slams down on. That's detail. Nice to have an auto repair place I can trust!”

“I took my car there for an oil change. The owner at the front desk is very helpful. He offered me a Pepsi while I waited and said I could change the channel on the tv to whatever I wanted. The main mechanic is a master and can fix anything. I’ve heard rumors they are getting a popcorn machine and maybe a claw machine. I will certainly be back for more work.”

“Bauer Built has been great to work with. I recently bought some aluminum wheels from them. I left on vacation and had my truck next door to them to get some mechanic work done. While I was gone, Bauer worked with them to get my truck after their work was done to install my wheels and have my truck done by the time I got back. A couple days after, one of the caps on my new wheels fell off and they replaced it immediately without question. No issues since. Today, I realized I had an inner flat on the rear and they got my truck in immediately upon arrival and I was able to work without much interruption. These guys are the best, hands down. Only place I will go for my wheel and tire needs.”

“I had a chronic leak in the RF tire of my Chevy Volt for years. I took it to four different repair shops over time, and each time they said it needed a new valve stem and TPS sender. This never fixed the issue. Finally I brought it to White Bear Tire, and they discovered corrosion in the wheel, surrounding the valve stem. They cleaned that out, and now, months later, there is no leak at all. Thanks guys!”
