The American Swedish Institute is a museum and cultural center offering a fantastic and wonderful experience. The architecture is an absolutely stunning mansion, described as a flipping castle and a beautiful venue for events like weddings. Visitors enjoy rich exhibitions, a fabulous restaurant with great coffee and food like ginger cakes and bread pudding, and regular Fika. There are events, art-making, music, and relaxing activities like a train video tour. The staff is friendly and helpful, maintaining a classy and elegant atmosphere. It is a super cool and highly recommended way to experience Swedish heritage, perfect for participants of all ages.
Very cool way to experience the swedish heritage in Minneapolis! The architecture is absolutely stunning and we visited when a Weaver's exhibit was up! The people were friendly and helped us learn more about the history of the mansion. Super cool visit!

We had a fantastic time! I took my kids for Christmas. We enjoyed the ginger cakes, making art together, listening to music, and reindeer. 🤍
