Anytime Fitness in Minneapolis is a friendly neighborhood gym for all fitness levels. It is a great low-stress gym with a clean, welcoming environment. The location is very convenient for the south Minneapolis area. The gym offers a wide variety of equipment, including plenty of treadmills, bikes, machines, free-weight equipment, and a boxing bag. It has cardio machines, strength training equipment, free weights, and functional training areas, including a group fitness space. Some note it is small and can be missing some equipment found at other locations, and it can be tough to get personal space during peak hours when classes are happening. However, it feels like this location does more to promote community and still has most of what you’d need for most kinds of workouts. Members appreciate the friendly and helpful staff and the great certified coaches. Group training workouts and small group workouts are available throughout the day and are a favorite for many. The gym offers personalized training and a self-directed workout. High praise is given for the 6 week challenge package, with a recommendation to use a dietitian when getting started. Many members are long-term and very pleased, citing the amazing price. The gym is not ever too busy for some, and it offers a free trial.
Love this gym! The staff and trainers really care and accommodate people at all ages and levels of ability. We have also gotten to know so many people, many of whom aren’t even in our training classes. We are in our ninth year and it has become part of our life style—something I would NEVER have imagined.

I signed up for the 6 week package and felt so good after each workout that I have been a member for almost two years now. The small group workouts are my favorite! Great coaches!
