About Minneapolis Impound Lot
The Minneapolis Impound Lot handles vehicles towed for violations like expired meters or blocking driveways. The required process involves payment, which customers note can be over $200 combined with tickets, and having current registration, insurance, a valid license, and money. If prepared, the transaction itself can be very quick, taking as little as 5 to 15 minutes. Multiple reviews highlight that the staff at the lot are consistently described as kind, friendly, helpful, professional, empathetic, and personable, even when customers are frustrated with the towing situation or the city's parking signs. While the experience of being towed is understandably stressful, the employees are noted for being efficient and sympathetic during the retrieval process.

Got my car towed recently but the staff (Jason) was very kind and friendly to me. He was very helpful and I was in and out within like 15 minutes and was able to get my car. He also gave me some tips to put on alerts to avoid towing in the future.

Nice and helpful staff nothing much else to say, payed $222 and a $45 ticket but it was my fault so can’t really complain.

Staff was polite and helpful, despite what I'm sure is a job with a lot of obnoxious interactions.
