“Now, this hmong store is my new favorite that my family and I visited to get free water for our empty gallon bottles.All I noticed was that it's all asian food (especially, hmong sausage is my favorite, too).In the beginning, their store slowly started to sell food and drinks, and the area was quite small.Today, the whole building now belongs to the hmong family to rent the hmong store and keep on running the business.Would you like to visit this store? “I usually don't shop at Festival Foods as it is a bit higher priced than County Market. I will say that the store was neat, clean and well organized. The produce was very fresh but the deli section service was slow. I was the only person waiting and there were two employees. Looked at me several times and we're just socializing. Finally I said "Um think one of you two could help a customer?" Looked kinda bothered that I asked. I'd give them another chance as other employees were more than helpful.”

“I'm always a fan of Hy-Vee. I like the selection, I like the layout, I like the feel of the place. Some of my favorites are the dry goods availability, and the deli! Recently they switched from a restaurant style offering to more of a cafeteria. You can get your food of whatever style from the appropriate counter, and then take it and eat at a table, a bar, a booth. Plenty of options!”

“I grew up down the street from this store when it was Supervalu. I passed by today and thought I would stop in to see if their chicken dinners were still amazing.. it was just as I remembered as a kid!! So good!! Half the price but x10 better than KFC or Popeyes. Also the grocery store is still clean and well ran by polite staff. I miss this place and it was very nostalgic stopping in today. Don't ever change!”

It was just one occasion, but it was such a pleasant outing I had with my mom and my sister, I think of this place every Ramadan, and every late evening of warm spring days. “Visited this grocery store today for the first! Lady in the front was super nice. I’ve been on a hunt to find a good Mexican grocery store and this place is definitely going to be added on my top 3. Love it! They had a little bit of everything. They have fresh panela cheese and fresh meat as well. Great prices! They also had fresh, warm tamales; both the banana left (which are rare) and the corn husk. Will definitely be back again!!!”

“Had their gyro topped cheeseburger with fries and they added cheese to the fries per request and as a combo before tax it was $9.99. I’d gladly pay double and still be satisfied. Also had another order of gyro cheese fries and legitimately top one out of the five I’ve ever had in my lifetime. Must go. The customer service is the best at a deli you could ask for. The cook is one single person running the whole thing while taking orders and to put out such quality food is a wonder within itself. I have no doubt that this deli will grow exponentially in no time. Please check it out and see it for yourself. There will be one thing on the menu that I will confidently say will be an instant classic for you. Give this place a shot if your in NE. You won’t regret it”

“Cute, smaller grocery store. First time I went to North Market was to actually check out Wendy's House of Soul (which is located inside the grocery store). While waiting for our order we did walk around and browse the store. They offer the same thing things as other chain grocery store but it's more of a peaceful, less chaotic shopping experience. I liked that I could find snacks there that I really only find in corner stores as well. Store overall was clean, the parking lot was as well. I've been back a few times to grab snacks and little things here & there. Staff at the front end were nice as well.”

“Brought my Danish friend here because I thought they would find all of the Russian items interesting plus they enjoyed the candy I've gotten there before. They just about broke down crying looking through and seeing a bunch of food from their childhood. Ended up buying a bunch of it and they are currently sitting right next to me having the time of their life eating the nostalgic food. When we checked out the woman didn't understand any English but was very friendly. I can't recommend this quirky little place if you have nostalgic European friends or just want some good cheap Russian candy. :)”

If I enter the grocery side it's for the Helados bars.The smoke shop is where I usually venture to. They have my juice at the best price I've seen. The selection isn't the greatest but I have found a few flavors I like.This place is well worth a stop!”
