“I never really write reviews. However, Scott lake deserves one. They have been absolutely amazing for our pit bull mix Roxi. Dr.Tom has been the best vet we have had. Always goes the extra mile and takes his time and is very thorough with any visits. I recommended this place to my family and my 16 year old family dog was brought in as well. He is usually shakes and hates vets but nope not here. He was nice and calm and did super well here. The staff are all helpful as well. It may be a little more expensive than other places but it is worth every penny.”

“I cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic and their staff. My mom brought her cat in yesterday, and they got us in right away without hesitation. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind, patient, and incredibly gentle with him. They took the time to explain everything, answered all of her questions, and truly treated him like he was their own.
Sadly, we had to come back today to say goodbye. During this hard time, the entire team was beyond compassionate. They were respectful, calming, and gave us the space and support we needed. Their kindness and empathy meant more than words can express.
This team went above and beyond at every step, and she will always be grateful for the care they showed, not just to her sweet boy Ivan, but to us as well. If you’re looking for a vet who truly cares, this is the place.

“Our pets have been patients of River Valley Veterinary Service for the last 5 years. Recently, one of our dogs had a seizure. I called and they got us right in. The vet and staff were all amazing - calm, clear, helpful in next steps, and both an assistant and the vet called the next day to check in on her. Grateful to have a small-town vet experience in a larger city.”
