“I just moved to Red Wing, and this is my neighborhood grocery store. It is small but has a lot packed inside. It just celebrated a century of existence. It is not the best place for bargain hunting, but you know what? They have the best selection around of local goods, everything from cheese (CannonBelles!) to produce (Lake City strawberries!) to crackers to BBQ sauces. The meat department has a great selection and a really nice butcher. Actually, everyone here has been incredibly nice. I imagine that it's the kind of place where I'll soon know the workers' names and they'll know mine.”

“Shout out to Richard in the deli department! Thank you for assembling my cheese tray before you left work so I could have it the next morning instead of the usual 24 hour protocol!”

“Very clean, well stocked and clear aisles give this Aldi a 5 star review. Employees were very friendly and the store was not busy. They do close early at 7pm but for the money saved, it's no biggie.”

“This might be the best place for tacos/burritos I’ve been too! The burrito could feed a family. Everything was so well balanced and seasoned. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! Service was great! Total hidden gem!”

“I LOVE this store. They are a throwback to what grocery stores were like before the big stores shrunk selections. Koplins is an especially great place for single people or couples who don't want to do a lot of cooking from scratch, but want good food and variety. They have a lot of homestyle prepared foods and soups packaged in quantities good for one or two people. They have a wider selection of meats than bigger stores. I don't live in Red Wing, but help my Mom when she shops here. Some prices are higher than at larger stores, but I would definitely shop here if I lived in RW because of all the good looking stuff they have.”

“Folks are pleasant, the store is smaller so things are easier to find. I will shop here when I only need a few things and don't have it in me to go all the way up to the big store and trudge around there. Prices are too high for big shopping unless you go prepped with a list from the weekly ad page and coupons, then one could do very well doing weekly grocery shopping at Family Fare.”

“I haven't been to Walmart for along time. Thank you for the signage above the aisles, it helped me a lot. The water area looked a little bare. Just have to get used to the self-checkouts.”
