“I've been fitted at this shop three times now and the staff are very useful and also really listen. They tolerate me trying on ten pairs of shoes, just to make sure that I find the right one that I'm comfortable taking home. I now live out of state but visited when I was back in town, and will definitely plan to do so again when I visit.”

“had a great experience at the store. The sales person was very knowledgeable and brought out fantastic choices that totally fit my needs. She spent about an hour with me while i tried on different shoes. I'm not a runner, but I needed shoes for walking after recovering from a broken ankle and I'm really happy with the pair I chose. The two staff members that were there were very friendly and helpful, and the store has a good vibe. i did use the measurement scan which was very cool. for a small local shop they had lot's of services and choices. I will definitely go back there next time I need a pair of shoes!”

“Northstar was always our go to store for lacrosse equipment and uniforms. When I found out they were also selling pickleball equipment, I knew that was where I needed to go! Joe was really helpful in explaining the difference between paddles and making recommendations for a beginning player. I appreciated that Joe did not try to sell the most expensive gear to someone who is new to the sport. I would recommend Northstar Lacrosse and Pickleball to anyone who is buying lacrosse or pickleball gear! Ian, Joe and their team are great!! I'll definitely be back!”

“O'Neill has wetsuit sizes 4XL-Short and 5XL-Short on their chart, but I couldn't find them online. I called them and expressed my need for size 5XLS and being unable to find it. They informed me that iSnorkel special orders these sizes, so they're only offered through them. I then called them and while they don't have a full 5XLS right now, they were considerate and searched their warehouse and reached back out to me later the same day.Kudos to iSnorkel for taking the interest and understanding the needs of big guys. I hope big guys support them, so they continue to see the value in serving our community. I purchased an Epic 3/2 full in 4XLS. It's the largest I'm going to find and I especially want a Jack O'Neill. Living in Oregon, a wetsuit is a must, so now I have a target size in my weight loss!”

“Fan HQ is a great store. They host autograph signings, most of which are paid, but they also sometimes have free signings (they just hosted a free event with Louie Varland from the Twins). This place is the most reliable one around to host autograph signings and also functions day-to-day as a sports memorabilia and apparel store. Staff is really friendly and welcoming, and the owner Shawn is very personable. They have some Fan HQ exclusive items, such as T-shirts and limited signed and numbered memorabilia. I hope this place stays open forever, as chances to meet local (and sometimes National) athletes is really fun.”
“I went in with no experience & very little knowledge of rowing machines. Logan spent a considerable amount of time with me explaining the differences between the types of rowers, asking questions to understand my needs and giving his recommendation on which machine would give the results I want & how to properly use the rower. I felt confident in his recommendation and was excited to purchase! Sam called me when my order was in, loaded it into my car and gave advice on unloading & assembly. Both guys are awesome! I would buy my next piece of equipment here and recommend anyone else looking to try them also!”

“I got fitted for irons and took a swing evaluation with Bianca at Golf USA Eden Prairie. Have been hesitant to in the past but took the leap of faith. Best decision ever. I now have the clubs and swing that fit me - and am playing the best golf of my life. Bianca is great and listens. Can't recommend enough.”

“It's rare for a place to get 5 stars with a lot of ratings but I get why this one does.I went in wanting something specific and was not told what I wanted to hear (A quick fix) which shows that the first priority wasn't a sale, but to keep me running long term.Since I wasn't handed exactly what I wanted I had a lot of questions to understand what/why it wouldn't work. I work with the public and I would have annoyed myself, but they answered all of them.I will go back to them for my next pair of shoes or coaching if they do that.”

“AMAZING selection of Disc's!! If I said they have over 10,000+ disc's to choose from, I'm certainly not underestimating!! They also have bags, carts, towels, hats, shirts, etc.... I've been purchasing discs here for years!! Absolutely the best spot in the Twin City metro area to get your Disc's & disc golf accessories! Nothing flashy or pompous, but EXTREMELY well organized and easy to locate what you're looking for. Staff have always been very friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist and give advice when asked. This is "destination" stop if you're a Disc Golfer and just visiting the Twin Cities. “I run a club through my university that requires canoes and Hogaard's has gone above and beyond every time we've rented from them. Even when we have an unusual request, like renting canoes in the middle of winter, they still make it work! Especially Chris and Chet who have rented us the canoes and helped to load them up, even when Chet had to help dig them out of the snow!! I highly recommend Hoigaard's to anyone looking for friendly and helpful service!”
