“I don't think I've ever posted a review before, but the service I received today has compelled me to do so.
In short, I would rather put a fire out with my face than deal with the routine task of getting an oil change. It causes me inexplicable anxiety. I dread the inevitable upsells and impending doom predictions and the typical lack of transparency in service.
Russell at the Apple Valley Firestone was the complete opposite of everything I expected when I walked in. There were no upsells, there was no trying to convince me that, if I didn't buy 4 brand new all sport all season mega grip luxury tires immediately, that my car would blow up on the way home. He walked me through every step, mentioning pertinent things with absolutely zero pressure. He applied several discounts that I was unaware of, and my total bill was significantly less than I had been anticipating.
I left the store feeling extremely well taken care of, and confident in the service I received. Despite living about 20 minutes away (I happened to be in the area) and having other Firestone stores within a mile or two, I will be making the trip out to Apple Valley to see Russell for any future car needs I may encounter.”
