“Mike at Roy's Service saved our weekend!
We were driving into town for the music festival and our car broke down a couple miles from his shop. Being the weekend we thought we were kind of screwed. We called Roy's, Mike answered and told us to bring it in so he can have a look at it.
Luckily it was a fix he was able to do over the weekend. He called us later that day, explained the problem, found a cheap part at the salvage yard and got our car fixed up.
Being from out of town we were worried about price gouging but Mike did the opposite. He found us a cheaper part than we were expecting and charged us for only 45 mins of labor. Despite having to drive back and forth from the salvage yard on top of the car labor and multiple phone calls with us to keep us informed.
The car was fixed and ready to go Monday morning and has been running great since. Mike was incredibly friendly, showing us his cats and explaining how he got each one. He also had our old fan assembly connected to a battery at his shop to show us exactly what the problem was and how he was able to fix it.
We cannot recommend Roy's Service enough. We hope we are never in the situation of needing a car repair in the Minneapolis area again, but if we are we are calling Mike!”

“really amazing driver that came to get my car towed. he was patient with me while we tried to figure out why the card wasn't processing and when it did process it, he got my car on the tow truck and brought over to the place within 10 minutes and they were one of the only places that could actually come faster than tomorrow! thank you guys so much for the amazing fast job!!!”

“Needed my car towed to the shop. I had just started a new job and had no PTO, so it had to get done before I left for work the morning of. When the towing service recommended by the auto shop blithely said to call at 8am day-of and it'd probably be about 90 minutes, I decided to shop around and found these folks. They gave me a scheduled time and a price quote, and made sure to ask what was wrong with the vehicle so they knew how to handle it. Their driver called when he was on his way, showed up on time, loaded my car carefully, was courteous the whole time, and safely delivered my car. I got an invoice for slightly less than the quoted price. Good experience at every step of process.”

“After my old car dropped this hot muffler next to the gas pumps, a kind young man said they'd lift up the car and see if returning home to Park Rapids in it put me in obvious danger. Sure enough, it had popped a hole in the gas tank and was leaking, and the sweet guys checked fluids and tires too! Got home safely thanks to the Sinclair station (by chance it was the very station I recalled from having a toddler's crush on the dinosaur mascot, I always begged Dad to get gas there! Now you can go pet the big green sculpture between the pumps.)”

“My car was towed at about 9:00 a.m. from the alley by my apartment . The guy that I talked to was very rude to me on the phone and told me that to get my car out of their impound it was going to be $563 and I needed to bring the exact change it wasn't even in their impound lot for a total of 12 hours this is an awake extortion that's how I feel I think this is the rudest company I've ever experienced and most unprofessional ever the guy who helped me retrieve my car at the impound lot was pretty much laughing at me saying how he is 72 years old and still making a bunch of money yeah money off people like me who are working while abiding citizens. These people are crooks and I only out for money they told me for nothing just to get the money out of me cuz my car was easy target the one sitting at the end of the row on top of that you can clearly see that I have a handicap sticker in my window so you told a handicap person's car”

My car wasn't damaged, they communicated with me promptly and well, and were kind. From what I can tell they are family operated. I would choose to use their services should I have the need in the area.”
