“Lloyd's is one of the best repair shops I've ever worked with. They are professional, courteous and they do what they say the are going to, when they say they'll do it and for the price they quoted. We are a one car family, so it's important that we have the work completed on time! Lloyd's is probably not the cheapest place in town. However, they use high quality parts and everyone -- including the front desk folks -- knows their stuff. They go the extra mile. For example, I had 2 brake lights go out within a day. I stopped in to see if they could help. They suggested it was probably the sockets rather than the bulbs. They got me an appointment for the next morning, but, since I was driving without brake lights, Jim at the front desk went and put 2 new bulbs in at no charge while I waited. They have also warrantied parts that went bad too soon, replacing at no cost including eating the labor. They are the real deal!”

“Mike at Roy's Service saved our weekend! We were driving into town for the music festival and our car broke down a couple miles from his shop. Being the weekend we thought we were kind of screwed. We called Roy's, Mike answered and told us to bring it in so he can have a look at it. Luckily it was a fix he was able to do over the weekend. He called us later that day, explained the problem, found a cheap part at the salvage yard and got our car fixed up. Being from out of town we were worried about price gouging but Mike did the opposite. He found us a cheaper part than we were expecting and charged us for only 45 mins of labor. Despite having to drive back and forth from the salvage yard on top of the car labor and multiple phone calls with us to keep us informed. The car was fixed and ready to go Monday morning and has been running great since. Mike was incredibly friendly, showing us his cats and explaining how he got each one. He also had our old fan assembly connected to a battery at his shop to show us exactly what the problem was and how he was able to fix it. We cannot recommend Roy's Service enough. We hope we are never in the situation of needing a car repair in the Minneapolis area again, but if we are we are calling Mike!”

I have been taking my car to the dealership for service for the past 12 years. Recently, they have been making it seem like my car is going to die on me if I don't spend $5k+ on service. I assume they're trying to entice me into exchanging my car for a new one. Unlike them, Milli was very honest about what needs to be repaired/replaced urgently and what can wait. And the prices for what she did is half of what the dealership charges. I’m so glad I have finally found a reliable mechanic and will be going there from now on (The $30 Lyft I paid to get home and back was totally worth it! The free car rental the dealership gives you is a trap. They charge 10 times more for labor and parts!) I highly recommend Five-star auto!”
