“I got a pound of mascarpone for $6.99 here which is way cheaper than Cub and even a little cheaper than Walmart. Plus nice to only have one big container to deal with instead of a bunch of little ones. I buy halloumi and spices here sometimes too. “My wife and I visited Addis Market as part of making sure we have ingredients for cooking Ethiopian food at home. The store keeper is very friendly and helpful with beginner questions. The market has a good variety of lentils and spices and two kinds of electric mitads (griddles for cooking injera) and a variety of Ethiopian coffee and prepared injera and Ethiopian wheat loaves. We will visit again.”

“One of my go tos in the area, and a destination for middle eastern in the twin citie. Service is warm and hospitable even if the takeout window is perpetually busy. Try dining in for a more relaxed experience - they always give us something extra when we do (soup, dessert, extra bread). Make sure you stop by the grocery store - the fresh olives, labneh and fresh bread corner are outstanding. The freshly made injera iraqi tandoor bread are always in my basket”

“We usually go to the Nokomis branch but saw the main store last week when they had a special sale event. There's a huge selection of earth-friendly goods and staples there, all of what the smaller store has plus more. We chatted with the staff who were very friendly and offered advice about the beeswax wrap I bought to try out. I'd recommend either store to anyone concerned with the environment and sustainability. Yes, you'll pay a bit more but it's worth it to know you're doing your part for the planet.”
“My brother is the one who found this place and I think it's great, for those that want to save some money. There are a few things that are past their expiration date, but mainly dry goods from what I saw. I wouldn't make it my main place to shop, but if you have a larger family, it could definitely be worth the time to stop in and check them out.”

“I’ve been coming to this store since I was a little kid, and I honestly felt sick to my stomach reading the review left by Ahmed and his friend Mohamed. It is a complete and total lie.
I actually happened to be in the store that exact same day. The reality is that Ahmed threw a tantrum because he didn't want to wait his turn in the queue like everyone else. He had absolutely zero patience.
To claim the owners are racist or profiling Somali customers is completely absurd. My family and the rest of our community are Somali, and this shop has been a blessing to us for years. When I was growing up, the owners would literally let me take groceries home to my mom without paying upfront, trusting her to pay them back whenever she got the money.
They are some of the most genuinely kind, big-hearted people you will ever meet.Please disregard the bitter, made-up stories from that other review or whatever he’s trying to cook up for TikTok clout. These owners treat everyone with respect, and they deserve our community's full support. 5 stars all the way.”

“We honestly just stopped by to check out the new place, and I think it’s one of the best Latin markets I’ve visited in Minneapolis, with a huge variety of fresh and high-quality Hispanic products. The place was very clean and I loved the tacos from the restaurant inside, we couldn’t resist and had to try them ( authentic Mexican flavor: very delicious, good portion and price ? ) They also have specials and they thank you for your purchase with a gift from the store ( they gave us two pounds of fresh chicken and a 10% off card for my future purchases! ) And without a doubt, the customer service was exceptional. “I’ve been shopping here for about five years or so and I’ve never had a bad experience. Not a single one. The people that work here are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. If they were ever in a bad mood or had a bad day, they never showed it. Not only are they super friendly and smiley, but they go above and beyond with things such as complimenting my purchases, asking my weekend plans, striking up conversation, making recommendations, and the last time I was there someone even ran to get something in the store I mentioned I couldn’t find so I could still buy it. Anyway that’s my favorite part but also the prices are always better than expected”
