“IT DOESNT MATTER WHICH ST PAUL BOXES YOU PUT YOUR MAIL IN. ALL OUTGOING MAIL GOES TO THE PLANT IN EAGAN TO BE SORTED. ALSO, CARRIERS HAVE TO PICK UP THE BOXES DAILY. THEY WONT GO HOME UNTILL THEY DO. Maybe get an idea on the process before making accusations.”

“Elway post office is the main post office we use. The desk staff is great and genuinely wants to help- they're really patient with me (I'm a headache with all my questions haha). If you want the cheaper way, faster way, have no clue of what way, explanation of international shipping, whatever- they'll help.
This is a fairly busy location so you might bump into a long line. Sometimes it moves quickly, sometimes very slow. Be prepared to wait if you're in line- it's because they're giving the proper patient attention to each customer and they'll give you the same!

There are PO boxes available in the lobby (separate area from the desk area)- the hours are the same as the desk area (closed on Sunday).
I've never felt unsafe and accessibility is good with a lowered counter available for wheelchairs though most of the counters are too high for my wheelchair. They do need more lowered counter space for wheelchair accessibility.”

“I don't find him to be angry, he's not cheerful or anything, I think he is pretty cool, he held onto my package longer than the post office normally allows because he knows that I'm a long haul truck driver and it's difficult for me to get to my PO box often, the other people who left the reviews are just soft, they need to be comforted just to get their mail, it's just business don't get so personal”

“The employees here are saints. There was a guy in today ranting about how long the line was and being super rude. The employees were being super professional and seeing people efficiently despite what this guy was saying. So I'd say to take some reviews with a grain of salt. Lines exist, get over yourself.”

“Had an important package get lost in the mail. Less than 10 minutes after going in and notifying them, the postal worker knocked on my door and made sure to hand deliver it to me. Still annoyed they misdelivered the package, but I can't argue with how fast they fixed the mistake.”
“There were was a long line and only two attendants but they were both quite pleasant with each customer while I waited my turn. Dropping off my packages the packages was speedy.”

“Very nice experience while I was there. It was early in the morning and a bit of a line but the lady got through everyone fast. She helped explain to me the proper postage stamps to use on the thing I was sending. However outside it was foggy and the sidewalks were frosty/icey. 5 stars ?”
