“Definitely a fun first-time experience for these of us new to VR! We came here for a work party and I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was fun! We had some of the flatbread pizzas which were delicious. Many NA and alcoholic drink options. Tons of different VR games to choose from and they gave us a good demo on how to use them at the beginning but you pick it up pretty quick once you start using them. It’s a cool concept to have the little pods. We had 3 groups and although we had different pods, we were still able to sit by each other and could bounce around to all of the pods.”

“What a holiday happy treat for Roseville Rotary! Forgot to take photos of the generous buffet with ham, beef bites in what tasted like bourbon sauce, salmon with cream sauce, asparagus, broiled reds, etc. and homemade cookies for dessert! Entertainment by the Swedish Institute Mens' Chorus was so fun, many songs in Swedish. Always love a night at Pool and Yacht!”

“I work right across from here and decided to check them out after a workout. They have an unlimited wings happy hour special and I was able to try 3 different wings flavors. Let me tell you, they went 3/3 with the bootleg wings being my favorite. The staff were very hospitable and friendly. For a restaurant with golf simulators, the bar and seating had a nice moody low lighting vibe. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to trying other menu items.”
“We held our wedding reception at North Garden in October of 2023. Ryan and Tina could not have been more gracious and helpful in executing our perfect day. We had an unexpected issue with one of our vendors as the reception began; Ryan, Tina and their staff jumped right in to help us problem solve a solution, which we could not have been more grateful for. The space is a perfect size for all types of events, and Ryan's prior stage management experience is invaluable in helping to create the perfect internal atmosphere for whatever the space is being used for. We cannot recommend North Garden Theatre enough, and wish we could give more than a 5 star rating!”
“I come down to the river rats water ski show about once a year. You really have to come about an hour to 45 minutes early to get *A* parking spot! If you have the blue accessibility parking thing I can't remember what it's called to come up but it hangs from my mirror) there's a parking lot for you, across the street from the show. But you have to have the blue parking thing. There are Porta potties, the show is, the viewing is on a hill so there's plenty of seating, you have to bring a chair like a camping chair, snacks, beverages, but they also do sell like I think, hot dogs, chips, water that sort of thing, and that money does go to the river rats. About halfway through the show they do collect money, they will be wearing THEIR OUTFITS , so make sure you are ONLY giving money to the RIVER RATS people they come in droves and will be carrying buckets. I usually give them a couple of bucks.”

“Staying here was my favorite thing about my visit to St Paul. It was so comfortable, relaxing, and interesting in the best way! Harriet island is very nice to walk around. On the Inn you'll also experience excellent views. I watched the sunset from the upper deck. Lot's of peaceful entertainment watching the birds. Not far from downtown but really feels like an escape. Has every modern amenity, despite being a boat! Came to St Paul for a conference at the intercontinental and stayed here on my last night, I wish I had stayed here the whole time! It is a very short walk. The owner is very kind and accommodating. I'm vegan and she made me a delicious breakfast. Staying at the Covington is really a must-do! I hope I have an excuse to come back and cannot recommend it highly enough!
Rooms: So cute and comfy! I was in the mates quarters. I wish I stayed more than one night. It was perfect

Safety: Felt very safe
Walkability: Not far from downtown! I walked to and from there.
Food and drinks: The host prepared a lovely breakfast accommodating my vegan! There's also a fridge in the room, and a kitchen area in the lobby. I enjoyed having the kettle for tea. I got takeout for lunch from babani's nearby (delicious!)”

“How do you review something so timeless. As a little one I came here frequently with my family and I would get so excited I would make myself sick! (Or so they say, I probably have issues with crowds or something). Anyway, I started volunteering in the vet med area in 2023 and I am so glad to be back - I actually kind of preferred walking around by myself! I am glad they've been getting more vegan options. I was there in 2019 to see Brandi Carlile and that was my first time Grand Standing it. Always so much to do and so little time!”
“Victoria and 413 on Wacouta are absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I could not be more thrilled with choosing this venue for our special day. First of all, the ceremony and reception happened in the same place so we didn't have to worry about transferring anywhere - huge plus! Secondly, we are huge fans of St. Paul and being able to have roof access to take photos with the St. Paul skyline was so perfect. Everything went smoothly and Victoria was a huge help on our day making sure everyone was where they needed to be. She was a great go-to person. The venue is absolutely beautiful - very good St. Paul vibes! We will always recommend this venue and Victoria to anyone!”
“We had our wedding reception here (ceremony offsite). We were able to get ready at the College Club with our wedding parties, take photos there, and then come back after our ceremony for the reception. It was a great space for couple, family, and wedding party photos!
The planning experience felt a little disorganized at times, and sometimes it felt like we needed to communicate things multiple times leading up to the day, but things really came together in the end.
However, our day-of coordinator (Keelia) did an incredible job helping our day run smoothly! She had an infectious positive attitude even when we were stressed by a dress bustling issue that kept pushing back the timeline.
This is a beautiful space for a reasonable price!”
“This is such a fun store with an amazing selection. I only went in to buy a Jalapeno infused olive oil for a gift and walked out with more than 5 different olive oils and balsalmics. The employee was extremely helpful in talking through what I might be using the different oils for, as well as suggesting some very fun recipe ideas to try with them.”
“Old seed warehouse, multiple stories, filled with artist studios and quaint shops. The NKB is worth wandering anytime of the year, is a zoo during Art-a-whirl, yet may require personal appointments to gain access to the more interesting or arcane bits. Watch for first Thursdays and open studios throughout the year. Also insinuate yourself into this community and gain access to a great social and artistic activities and events.”
“There's lots of lackluster art in the world, but you won't find any art Rogue Buddha. Discerning collectors will find interest on every wall. Those looking for kitsch, not so much.”

“My husband and I recently spent four nights at the St Paul Hotel while attending the Minnesota Yacht Club music festival. The location was the initial draw as it was walking distance to the venue. We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many nice hotels and we both agreed that this was one of our favorites! The building itself is beautiful and our room was immaculate. Some of the best room service and house keeping we’ve experienced. The St Paul Grill is the onsite restaurant and the food and service was superb! A bit pricey but well worth it. There is also a lobby bar which has coffee and pastries in the mornings or you can have breakfast at the Drake which was also amazing. It’s rare that we leave a place with no complaints but it happened during this stay! Book a stay at the St Paul. You will not be disappointed!”
“My wife and I just had our wedding reception here and Perfect is the only word that kept coming to mind when I started trying to sum up my experience. However everything was too good to accurately describe with the word perfect. Setting up our event was totally stress free. The staff was so professional and helpful and kind. I could keep going but I want to get to the food before you get bored and stop reading. It was roll your eyes back into your head delicious. And we kept our menu simple. Every expectation I had was exceeded by orders of magnitude and I had high expectations. Do your event here. You will not regret it.”
“A beautiful space for weddings and other events. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a lot of miscommunication from the day-of-event coordinator with the bride that left her stressed.”
“It's very clean, however on the lower levels (below the Jamba juice, on the floor with the Starbucks and bookstore) there could be a better directory, especially regarding where exits are and where they lead. I know this is also not particularly the building/campuses fault, but everything closes exceptionally early. More often than not, after my classes that end at 3-4, everything including food and supplies store are completely closed or out of everything. Other than that, it is very nice and there is plenty of seating”
“My husband and I LOVE this place!!. It's members only the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. We went there for a couple of drinks and just sat and talked. It was the perfect way to end our evening. They do offer food but I'm not sure what they have to offer seeing as we only went for drinks. The place is a little bit off the main road so you might have to Google it. Their prices are very reasonable and the parking was easy. I highly recommend it to anyone who is a veteran of a or a child or spouse of a veteran who was in a foreign war.”

The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, and the security ensured everyone felt safe. The food was delicious, making the experience even better. “One of my favorite parks in the area. There's a beautiful bridge that walks out onto an Island tha has 2 small peninsulas. There's a few short walking trails and some art installations along the way. There is also a small beach at the neighboring park. Not sure if the water would be great to swim in though.”
