9:30AM - 8PM
5021 Excelsior Blvd, St Louis Park“They have a new way of accepting clothes/items which I really find very easy. They have gone to a texting. I don’t go there often, but it seems far more organized!”
“Great selection of high quality toys for a variety of ages. We were buying a gift for a one year old's birthday party, and we asked for a recommendation. One of the toys she recommended ended up being the toy the birthday played with the most at his party! Don't hesitate to ask the staff for help. They are very knowledgeable and want to sell you toys kids will use for a long time! They also wrapped it for us as well!”
11AM - 7PM
1618 Central Ave NE UNIT 110, Minneapolis“Fun store to walk through with neat displays and a decent selection of Lego sets & games. Feels like a museum with all of their figurines from all kinds of war times. They did have a couple tables for playing group games which is a nice touch.”
“This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside you'll basically find hobbyist heaven. At this point Hub Hobby is my go-to for Miniature Wargaming models and supplies. It's one of the only stores I've been to in recent memory where they actually have appreciable discounts on items, not to mention a rewards program if you're planning on becoming a long term customer. The staff in my experience is very friendly whether you're asking them questions in person or even shooting them a question on Facebook. Their Gundam section is especially notable to me, with the best selection I've seen in the entire state and a bunch of other Japanese model kits right next to all the Warhammer you could want. Puzzles, classic games, tabletop, wargaming, RC vehicles and all the tools and specialist items you could need. I feel like this place is an incredible boon to the whole local hobbyist community and I look forward to each and every visit I take to this location. Just exceptional stuff.”
“Stopped by on our way home to Wisconsin and had an amazing time and got many recommendations for other places to stop on our way. Thank you Jericho for all your help you are a great guy we will definitely be back if we are ever in Minnesota again.”
10AM - 6PM
219 N 2nd St #102, Minneapolis“Outstanding customer service throughout the purchasing process and even after (answered questions, provided receipts over a year after purchase). Definitely recommend.”
“Loved finally be able to visit this location. The staff were excellent and the overall store is very inviting and a great place to spend some money on Legos. Plus, that PAB wall is huge!”
“This store is a masterpiece of set building, customer service, and sheer toy selection. It is quite literally a wonderland surrounded by the regular world. Go here if you want to look around at cool stuff, and you’ll probably end up buying something to give to someone you love.”
“The swing arrived timely and to the joy of the grandchildren. We had already secured lines to the tree branch so all we had to do was attach the swing lines to the lines from the branch. The swing is perfect, very high quality and easy to install. The first riders were the the grandparents!”
“If you love board gaming, you came to the right place. I've only visited the Games by James at the Mall of America, so this is the one I'm reviewing here. Not the largest store, but solidly packed with whatever you need to satisfy those n*** cravings. In a fantastic location, visible from multiple floors, with an enticing window display and inviting wide open entryway, they totally nailed the layout. Despite the compact nature of this beast, traffic flow is excellent, with the service desk exactly where it should be. I don't really have any criticisms whatsoever. Even the pricing is what you would expect, given the general expense of not only the product, but where this particular store is located. My wife certainly fears the worst whenever I go here, which is practically every time I visit the Mall of America. I only fall short of giving a five star review in comparison, because I am so very fortunate to have The Gamers Den (Cambridge) in my area, a far bigger store in terms of floor space, independantly owned by wonderful folks who truly love the hobby and genuinely appreciate their community of customers. So, if you're reading this review, I absolutely recommend you check them out too. Superb.”
“Beautiful store and, wow, what a selection of the latest baby items, especially for newborns and new mommies! Maegge and Kavi were incredibly helpful in the Edina store. The store is a must for buying special gifts to celebrate the new baby; the gift wrapping is gorgeous, and, again, you will find something that no one else carries, especially onesies and sweet baby stuffies, toys and books. While the store seems like an elegant boutique, Pacifier, a woman-owned local business with four locations, carries a lot of inventory and they are serious about their merchandise. Maegge and Kavi went out of the their way to find a product for me, and ultimately found it in another store. I look forward to shopping at Pacifier again and again. Very special place.”
“Staff was amazing it looks hectic going through there when there's people was a little hard to record the voice for the voice box due to the live music playing but that's not Build-A-Bear's fault other than that great experience”

“5 stars purely for the customer service.Had a defective screw and most likely a defective part, I was dreading having to deal with customer service, instead the lady I talked with took care of everything for me and responded very timely.Had no idea they were in Minnesota also very happy to hear.I’ll update this post after I put it together,Thank you so much.”
“The State Fair sodas are probably their most popular, but the Serenity sodas and the Wizard’s brew are my favorites.I’m so sad that whenever I head into the shop, there are only 2-3 other customers. This store is probably Minnesota’s best kept secret.”
“My family and I always enjoy coming into Dreamers Vault. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the team are really helpful. The back half of shop is an area for people to come and play, and they host games throughout the month.”
“Brought our kids here to get their ears pierced for the first time. There was only one employee working at the time, but she was fantastic. She did a great job at managing both the register and us and had a great attitude the whole time. She made the experience great for my kids and engaged with them well. I would highly recommend this location.”
“Store manager Jessica is awesome. She had a lot of patience with my questions and helped me a ton with a discount she provided in the store. Definitely coming back when we’re in town!!”

“Sweets is my go to when it comes to kendamas. I ordered online and left a note asking if they could give me a well balanced kendama for the one I was ordering and they did! They left me the specs of the dama on my packing slip and gave me some candy too! Shout out to the sweets team for spreading the love really do appreciate it!”
“Wonderful customer service. My daughter received a toy for Christmas that doesn’t seem to work right. They told me bring it in and we will exchange it!! I was pretty surprised. I was that easy. Thank you.”
8AM - 8PM
7777 Golden Triangle Dr, Eden Prairie“As an Executive Assistant to a couple of busy business people with kids, I am often tasked with finding the best gifts that the Twin Cities has to offer for little girls and boys ranging in age from 5 to 15 years old. Having no kids of my own, I am often lost for inspiration. Creative Kidstuff to the rescue! I am able to swing by and have the well-educated and friendly staff help me pick out a gift, or even call ahead to place an order. Everyone working there is obviously passionate about kids and the toys that they love to play with - I've never been steered wrong! My favorite orders are the ones that I call ahead and send our driver to pick up. The staff always has a great time putting together options for me, based on age, gender, and preferences of the child(ren) in question. Don't forget to budget time for them to wrap the gifts in their signature wrapping paper! They always do a great job, and it is so much fun to see the requester's eyes light up as you hand over a beautifully packaged toy or craft for their kids to take to a birthday party. Thanks for everything, CK, and I'll be back!”
“I'm just happy book stores made it through the covid junk. Still more expensive than online but you don't go to these stores for the price. You go for the smell and the feel and being surrounded by countless authors and knowledge.”

3965 Eagan Outlets Pkwy Space #240, Eagan“This is the coolest toy and game store I have ever seen. They have old school toys, new toys, and the odd toy. I found some hard to find toys for my collection. The employees are always polite and helpful. They also have unique Lego sets and board games.”

“Our family loves Choo Choo Bob's! Play to pay currently is $10/kid, $2/adult and under 1 is free. It's worth it! This is a great place to meet up with friends and have some fun! Lots of train tables, a hot wheel section, doll houses and a coloring table. Their retail section is also great with good selection and fair prices. Staff is wonderful and they have a 10:30 story time/music time that is very interactive!”
