“I had a great experience getting a tire installed here. I arrived at 9:00 AM and they pulled my car into the service area right away. The service advisor was professional and confirmed the price before they started working, so there were no surprise fees. The waiting area was quiet and had fast Wi-Fi, which allowed me to get some work done. I definitely recommend getting your tires serviced here.”

I brought it to Murphy's and they let me have a loaner car the night before the appointment and had it fixed in a couple hours the next day for a great price. No problems ever since. I truly trust what they do and charge... and it's very hard for me to trust anyone else.”

They performed a free oil change for me during their annual Salute to Veterans event—and even provided lunch. That alone says a lot about who they are, but the service backs it up. The staff is always extremely friendly and professional. They walk you around your vehicle while it’s on the hoist and show you exactly what they’re looking at.
Both of their shops are unbelievably clean and well-organized—honestly some of the cleanest automotive facilities I’ve ever stepped into. The pride they take in their workspace gives me confidence they’ll take the same level of care with my vehicle.

“I went to this shop because I had a coupon for a free oil change. Never heard of this place before. I'm used to jiffy lube or the 5 minute places. This shop was so clean and nice! I was worried about having to being my toddler with, but the staff in the lobby were very welcoming to her, even offering her snacks! The service was pretty quick too! The kind staff really helped make a trip with a toddler less stressful, especially as she was wandering around the entire lobby 😂 we will definitely come back for the next oil change!”

“Lloyd's is one of the best repair shops I've ever worked with. They are professional, courteous and they do what they say the are going to, when they say they'll do it and for the price they quoted. We are a one car family, so it's important that we have the work completed on time!
Lloyd's is probably not the cheapest place in town. However, they use high quality parts and everyone -- including the front desk folks -- knows their stuff. They go the extra mile. For example, I had 2 brake lights go out within a day. I stopped in to see if they could help. They suggested it was probably the sockets rather than the bulbs. They got me an appointment for the next morning, but, since I was driving without brake lights, Jim at the front desk went and put 2 new bulbs in at no charge while I waited. They have also warrantied parts that went bad too soon, replacing at no cost including eating the labor.
They are the real deal!”

“Been going to Zaks for about a couple of years now and my choice for them to do my service has only increased. They’re very knowledgeable and skillful mechanics. Above all they’re very pleasant to do business with and will go out of their way to help you. Recently my daughter’s Honda Passport had an interior water leak as a result of a plugged AC drip tube. They got it in the next morning and were also able to squeeze an oil change that day even though they were busy. I refer people to them without any hesitance.”

Ralph was fantastic, and now Steve, as the new owner has picked right up where Ralph left off: kind, fair, accommodating, competent.
I have a newer vehicle so I typically service at the dealership now. But Steve was awesome for getting me in on short notice a year ago for a punctured tire repair. And today, he got me in (with one day’s notice) for oil change and tire rotation / as I couldn’t schedule as needed with the dealership before a trip.
Like Ralph, Steve cares about people and good business practice / reputation, which welcomes new customers as well as maintaining the old!!

“Daughter’s car started losing power driving up Rice Street on her way home from work. Met her and we were able to limp it to the Good Neighbor Automotive parking lot after hours. We filled out the drop off request and put the key in the slot. I called at 7:30 the next morning and they were already working on it. They called back an hour later saying it was fixed! About half what I was expecting to pay. Found my new go to repair shop!”
“The guys that work here are very honest and trustworthy. Even though we had bad luck with my mom's vehicle after spending $1,800 on it. They found out a few months later that her back shocks we're about to go through the frame they were honest about it and told us that we shouldn't put no money into it. They were very upset at the fact that they didn't do a overall inspection the first time before we spent the 1800.00. even though my mom was out money she appreciates them for being honest with us and you will always have us as loyal customers. They didn't charge us for the inspection which was delightful. Justin and John and I believe the other guy's name is Jake you guys are awesome”
“Friendly staff. The mechanic YER Hang did a good job finding a way to replace the inner tie rod in such a tie area to work with, there were some adjustments that had to be made during the process and he was there to let me know going foward to replace it, no extra charge. I am very satisfied.”
“St. Paul Automotive had stepped up to help me more than I could have ever imagined. I had an oil change done and the next day, the engine froze up on the highway and there was oil leaking all over the place. I called St. Paul Automotive right away and they had me tow it in so they could determine the cause of the issue. After reviewing the work performed with the oil change and the engine, they were not able to accurately determine what the cause of the engine seizing was from. They realize that I had only driven 36 miles since the oil change and not being able to determine the fault of the issue, they offered to take the hit on the repair and cover the replacement engine. This was a life saver. I was freaking out about the cost and what went wrong. It turned out that it also needed a new starter (as I tried to turn it over a couple of times after it died.) I paid for the starter and they took care of getting everything fixed. The support of the team, James B, and Blaine was beyond top notch. I can see why this auto shop has been around locally for as long as it has. They have the best customer service and I will recommend them to anyone who needs auto maintenance.”
“Jerry and the team have been taking care of my vehicles for 4 years. My dad was told by a dealership that he needed a $4000 repair on his Traverse. He brought it in to Maplewood Auto Service yesterday and they told him there was a minor leak in a seal. The repair the dealership wanted to do was not necessary and was not even the cause of the leak. Having an honest, trustworthy mechanic is hard to find. This is the place! Thank you Jerry!!!”
“I had a bad stem on my skidsteer tire. I brought it in to Pomps, they repaired it in an hour, very very reasonable price, and they even loaded the repaired tire back into my pickup box. Very nice people to work with and they jumped right on it. I was a walk in customer thinking I would've to come back to pick it up but they fixed it right away. My new favorite tire dealer. A rentalshop in Hudson WI gave me their name to fix my large tire. Thank you Pomps.”
