Tonya, the office manager, is absolutely incredible. She’s professional, welcoming, kind, and genuinely cares about the residents. Any questions or concerns are handled quickly and with such a positive attitude. She truly goes above and beyond.

“My family relocated from out of state to Minnesota in April 2025. After nearly 6 months, I can confidently say that The Carrick is the most charming property in a relatively quiet and distinctly quaint area…close to the largest lake system in the twin cities and accessible to countless amenities. The community has an excellent layout with two buildings - townhouses on the first 2 levels and apartments above. The townhomes are well constructed, and have premium appliances, even speed ovens! If you know, you know! The thing that sets the Carrick apart and takes it into solid 5 star territory, however, is the property manager, Christian. If you read the other reviews, you will see that I am not the only person who noticed that Christian is key to the living experience here. Christian is genuinely kind, straightforward, honest, and authentic with endless patience and high standards. Like any rental property, there are issues from time to time, the difference is that as a tenant you will always have a voice. Concerns are addressed swiftly and effectively. Christian is very keen on keeping the property up to the very highest standards. After renting for over a decade in New York City and other parts of the country, I can say that I have never lived in a community that is better managed. We also have wonderful neighbors and we have made many friends here. I personally don’t think there is a better property in the Twin Cities area. I highly recommend the Carrick! PS, did I mention that we have a Hazelwood food and drink on property?! :-)”

I’ve been living here for six months, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The apartment is spacious, with modern finishes, high ceilings, and lots of natural light. The kitchen is well-equipped.
The building offers great amenities. Amanda is great and always around to help. Tenzin is on site and most issues get resolve same day.
Parking is secure, and I feel safe here with controlled access. Overall, it’s been a great place to live, and I highly recommend it!”

- The place is beautiful, clean, and well-kept (I would say all the time)
- The staff and people living here are very friendly
- Very limited parking in the apartment’s outdoor parking lot. Additional outdoor parking that are available is shared with the golf course nearby but within specific hours from evening to morning. There is also an underground parking with ample of parking spaces if needed & the only way to guarantee a parking spot
- The neighborhood is nice and quiet with ample of nearby stores and food trucks! It's also only a 6-10 minute drive to the Maple Grove area where there are Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Costco, REI, Homegoods, etc
First off I just wanted to say that Tyler Heid made the whole process so easy for me to sign with Ironwood Apartments. At the time I lived 40 minutes away and needed to find an apartment around this area fast, so you can imagine how hard it was to find an apartment when you live far + working around the clock + needing all your questions answered on the same day to make a final decision. I had a phenomenal experience with Tyler when touring. Tyler was very prompt & on-time - something I value and appreciate most. He answered all my questions from the beginning to the end of me signing my lease. Tyler did such an awesome job overall that when I toured other apartments nearby, I was left with only wanting to sign a lease with Ironwood Apartments. I can truly say I didn't get the same quality of service as I did when I toured with other apartment complexes. The experience I had with Tyler spoke volumes to me and it was a no brainer to sign with Ironwood Apartments!”

“We moved to the Mist about 6 months ago after leaving our lifetime hometown, 300 miles away. Our children & grandchildren live in Mound & it was time to be closer to watch our grandchildren grow up. We looked at more than 10 condo, townhouse, apartment settings & nothing compared to The Mist. The quality of the building, appliances, , decor , underground parking , lake view etc was all very impressive. The staff was so helpful from Day 1. Any questions or maintenance issues are taken care of immediately.. The staff of Barbie, Suzan, Tim & Antonio are amazing! Meeting other residents at the gathering in the beautiful Club room made us feel welcome immediately. Our kids & grandkids love coming to visit , especially now when the entire lobby & Club room is decorated like a Christmas wonderland! ?❤️??
We know we made the best choice possible when we chose the Mist as our new home!”

“I have lived at Ogilvie Sqr Apts for 15 years & I've had no real complaints. Have never had a problem with maintenance, when I put in a request for a sink drain issue it was taken care of promptly, when I had no heat because of plugged boiler pipes they handled that in relatively reasonable time & while waiting, space heater was brought in. My only disappointment was when I requested new carpeting I was turned down. My carpet was approximately 18 yrs old. Well I borrowed the money from my brother & now have new carpet.. it's 2 months old now & the Company that does our buildings carpeting is the Company I used. Maintenance here set me up with them so it was the proper carpet that's used for all the apts. I would be tickled if Cepco would be kind enough to reimburse me by reduced rent for a few months so I could get my brother paid back.”
“Me and my husband lived here for almost three years. We just recently moved out after buying our first home. We would highly recommend. Cannot beat the location! We loved being able to take our dog on walks around the ample walking paths right outside our door. It is surrounded by all the grocery stores one would need along with being surrounded by amazing food! Park Tavern, Wok in the Park, Mexican City Cafe, Britos Burrito, Ariana Kabob & Gyro, and Angel Food were among our favorites and all were within walking distance or a short few minute drive. Our place was just what we needed. Having a garage is so nice that many apartments in the area don't provide. Overall such a great experience and would highly recommend this complex to anyone!”
“I’ve enjoyed living here. The community has people from all walks of life, and everyone is friendly—my neighbors always say hi and I’ve had zero problems with anyone.
The location is super convenient with a gas station and a Domino’s within walking distance, plus plenty of paths to walk on. Parking is usually easy, and garage parking is available for around $60/month (you do have to keep it for your whole lease) but it’s convenient if you want covered parking!!!!
Maintenance has been great and responsive every time I’ve put in a request. I see them zooming all over on there golf carts. My closet door broke and they put screws in it to fix it nothing fancy but works for me! The office staff is professional and helpful. The gym/workout/basketball area is clean, safe, and actually enjoyable to use, and overall the building feels secure. Kids and teens do like to go to the main building to play pool and listen to music. Feels safe and fun. Vending machines all over the property. So nice to have!
Rent is separate from internet and electricity, and there is a monthly service fee that covers trash, gas, water, sewer, and pest control. For me, it’s been about $100/month depending on occupancy. Laundry is $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry I believe.
I’d recommend. It is spendy keep that in mind. Living in such a big community nothing is perfect but they strive to make it. ?”

“This place was awesome lived there for two years got more than a fair price. Fishing, swimming, bike path right out the back can’t beat it. Walking out for work in the morning at the lake side exit with a beautiful sunrise every time. Good restaurants a bike distance away. Fridge went out once and I had a replacement the same day. Got my whole deposit back besides 100$ since I didnt have the carpet cleaned which I was told to. Landlord was always quick to respond. Would highly recommend everyone to try life out on the lake, how can you complain about that..”
