“Beth was outstanding. Friendly, kind, wonderful yes- but the perfect sales associate; not at all pushy, gently recommending- took me from a “499.00 mattress” to one only a few dollars higher but a hundred tunes difference in comfort.
Alas, she allowed my stretching out on an adjustable frame which gave way to my legs being raised- absolute game-changer. Upgraded on the spot. Would recommend the Ridgdale/Mtka store all day long. Beth and Cody were, again, outstanding. No hyperbole, only the truth!:)”

“Honestly, I had been investigating a certain kind of couch I wanted. One with a chaise lounge and storage. When I saw this store I went in on the fly. I wasn’t expecting to purchase or find anything in addition to what I already had seen. Well, turned out, they have a huge selection of this type of couch, in many different options and colors. I bought it on site. That and two end tables and a coffee table. I would have bought floor lamps but didn’t see much variety. The sales person was so great and patient with me. I wish I remembered his name…. Anyway, my stuff is being delivered in a few days and I got exactly what I was looking for and even more options. And I want to add that my new bank card I had wouldn’t allow the purchase for limit reasons. The sales person was so patient while I called the bank etc. I ended up using their zero percent financing instead just to make it happen. Awesome experience. Great store!”

“I first walked into the IDC during the height of the pandemic and said I needed to furnish a newly purchased townhome, that I knew what I wanted but that I intensely dislike shopping. During the following months Dawn and Denise could not have been more helpful. They not only heard what I was saying, they listened. My time was never wasted and I was never pressured but was shown items in keeping with what I had said I needed and wanted. I do not live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area so considerable communication took place by phone and email with Dawn always keeping Denise current as related to items under consideration and decisions made while Denise did the same with Dawn. Not once was there even the slightest miscommunication. When we learned due to the pandemic the factory in Finland had stopped making dining tables and chairs Denise contacted someone at the factory to ask if they could please make the one table and 4 chairs I wanted from stock on hand AND THEY DID!!! I was grateful beyond words to think she had done this and that those at the factory had agreed. Three times Kevin and Rick delivered items to my home and each time I was impressed by their work habits. Kevin is extremely skilled/talented and a strong leader and I appreciated how he appropriately mentored Rick relating to why things were being done as they were. Every piece was placed exactly where I wanted and I know had I not been happy they'd have moved them. Whether ordered from Finland or Norway or bought off the floor, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the many pieces from the IDC and as important, could not be happier with the experience I had working with Dawn, Denise, Kevin and Rick. They were exceptional.”

“I have a small apartment balcony, and I knew going in that my choices of furniture would be limited. The first place I looked DID have some very nice furniture, however, I only needed two chairs and a small table and they were unwilling to “break up” the sets they had in stock. 4-6 months was their estimate to special order what I wanted.When I arrived at Paddy O’Furniture, on the other hand, even though the choice of what I wanted was again limited, they had what I wanted in stock and were EXTREMELY helpful in giving me tips on how to assemble my pieces AND went out of their way to pull the boxes from their stock and help me load it into my car! I even had to go back a week later to ask for some clarification on the assembly and their “assembly expert” dropped what she was doing and gave me the extra hardware and advice I needed.One pays for quality, and I can definitely say that Paddy O’Furniture is worth every dollar!”
“Re: Moving my elderly parents
This past few years have been a very difficult season of life for me and my family to say the least. For some time we had been dealing with many health issues with both of my elderly parents that eventually forced them into having to leave their comfortable independent living facility with all of their close friends and having to move to an assisted living facility.
With that came the hard work of sorting through and packing many years of belonging and making those painful decisions on what to keep and what goes as we began the difficult process of this move.
To add to the already existing stress, we seem to be living in a culture where sub-par seems to be the norm for everything from dining out to choosing a health care provider, so finding a mover that would value my parents and their precious possessions seemed like another daunting task!
In steps VSI Construction & moving, and from the time Len, one of the owners met my father where he knelt down to his wheelchair level to greet him; until the job was completed it was a 5-star experience and the VSI team delivered at the highest level.
The army of six men and two women showed up on the site 10 minutes early and from start to finish, including me asking them to change the furniture configuration twice, they were done in less that 4-hours and we were able to move my folks into a completely set up apartment! We know this was extremely hard work physically and mentally and we are beyond grateful to all at VSI.
My heartfelt thanks to Len and Chip and the whole VSI team for their quality work and treating me and my family like we were their family.
