“Amazing wedding location in a timeless building on Lake Minnetonka. This historic club and golf course boasts lakefront golf and a wedding view with a gorgeous ballroom. It is very difficult to book and is a membership club but our event was fantastic too to bottom. I officiated the event and it is one of the classiest venues in our area. Their vendors are fantastic and you have the option of a boat ride for the bride and groom which was fun for the wedding party!”

“The place definitely has a monopoly on the location of downtown Wayzata. As for calling itself a boutique hotel, they still have some convincing to do for $300 a night. Service was impeccable, everyone was always willing to help and get you what you needed, and they did have some included amenities like a bike to borrow and a fitness room. The coffee shop in the lobby was anticlimactic. They did have a nespresso machine in each room which was great, but including some cream or a little pitcher of milk and a frother would have been great instead of getting an espresso shot to start the day.Rooms: the beds were comfortable, but our curtain was missing the stick to open and close, some of the outlet covers were installed upside down, and there was no fan in the bathrooms. The dual rainfall showerhead was fantastic though!”

“We sprung for the "ultimate" package for my wife's birthday and were happy we did.Tommy is an absolutely great tour guide and super knowledgeable about Prince, his music and the MN music scene in general.If you have a chance to get Tommy's tour, DO IT!”

“The coaches are awesome and there are tons of options for various age groups and levels. We have our 4 kids in their programs and it's been wonderful to see how they have improved and gained strength, coordination and confidence!”

“If you have a passion for nature, flowers, and trees, this destination is a must-see. Located less than a 30-minute drive from downtown Minneapolis, it offers a vast area to explore. A drive-through visit provides a delightful experience, and the ticket price is reasonable. Taking the time to admire the Tulip flowers near the welcome center can turn this into an unforgettable half-day trip with your family. I highly recommend visiting this place at least once if you find yourself in Minnesota.”

“What an awesome experience! Our child celebrated their birthday playing Laser Tag with 9 of their friends at WhirlyBall Maple Grove. Wes got us situated in our party room, and Rob helped us with our pizza and drink orders. Both were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Another crew member explained the rules and helped to coordinate the games in the Laser Tag arena, which was very spacious, clean, and had tons of fun dimensions added to it (walls, corners, windows, etc). The party room was clean and well-maintained, overlooking the WhirlyBall court, which was really fun to watch. There were NO hidden fees – the coordinators were communicative and transparent about how much it cost, what it included, and what to expect, which I very much appreciated. The entire staff were exceptionally professional, pleasant, attentive, and helpful in every way possible. This was a super great way to celebrate a teen’s special day!”

“I was visiting Minnesota for a week, but I ended up staying longer, so I checked out this gym. I had an amazing experience with the Xcel program (as an Xcel Diamond): the coaches were terrific in helping learn new skills as well as maintaining those I'd already had. They additionally have a great support system and the environment is one I wish I could've stayed in for longer. Legacy Gymnastics is excellent and if you are looking for a gym for yourself or your gymnast, this is the best option -- in my opinion, of course! :-)”

“We had our 25th Anniversary Celebration over the weekend on Lake Minnetonka & it was absolutely perfect! We were also married w/ Paradise Cruises so that is why it seemed the best fit to have it here once again! Captain Matt & Paige took extra care of us, my family & friends. To make it extra special, right before we were going to board, Dave, the owner of Paradise Charter Cruises, introduced himself to me & congratulated us. Now, that in my mind was truly special & something we will never forget! Thanks again for an amazing day! We all had an incredible time aboard the Paradise Princess II! “Wow stunning course that is a lot of fun to play. Food was great and service even better. Trying to figure out if there was a deal on ugly teal patio umbrellas as there were a lot of them as they are ugly….i think this is funny not annoying…great course and community hopefully I get invited back!”

“I attended a workshop here recently. You must sign up online ahead of time bc each project includes specifically created stencils. It was a lot of fun! There were several high school employees who I thought were very helpful. I'd call the experience creativity light. You don't get to make too many choices...but also you dont have to make too many choices!! Sometimes that is the type of craftiness I want to do. At the end of the event you will have a nice crafty piece to display, or give away. And, you won't have to clean up at all. Of note, everyone at the studio stood at large high top work tables. If you have someone in your group who doesnt want to stand for the entire time, you should ask about accommodations.”

“Made reservations for an early Sunday dinner online. Website is easy to navigate and menus are updated. Parking was super easy, spacious lot around the restaurant. Staff were very attentive and answered any questions we had. Food came promptly and was well paced between appetizers and main course. My mocktail was DELICIOUS. The ramen was good, but a little on the sour side for my personal taste. That may have been on me since I didn’t realize the mushrooms were pickled! Overall, good place for a nice meal out!”

“Another great experience at Pig on the Porch. Phenomenal blackened Cajun catfish! The Brisket Mac n Cheese was killer, with a jalapeño bacon compliment. Lastly, the f'ing cornbread was best on the planet, sorry mom..”

“We stayed overnight to be closer for a very early medical appointment. The hotel was very easy to locate and parking was easy. Check in was quick and the staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable. The lobby is quite appealing in design and welcoming with ample seating. We appreciated the convenience of snacks and beverages available for purchase next to the lobby. Our room was large and very clean. We were disappointed to find the fan had been disabled on the heating and cooling unit. The room was a bit too warm and we wanted to use the fan for air circulation and white noise. Our only other complaint was that the bed was too firm. The bedding was nice and the pillows were very adaptable for any type of sleep position. We didn't realize until morning that there was a top sheet very tightly folded and wrapped across the bed so we used the duvet. The room had several handy amenities including a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.”

“2 room suite:Issues/poor observations:-Chosen for having EV chargers - They weren't turned on and the front desk did not know how to turn them on. They finally turned them on at 7am which was a bit late for an overnight charge.-Some rooms face the interstate and would be a bit louder noise levels (our room was not this way)-AC is extremely loud and could not sleep with it on. Even turned off there was an air sound like a white noise machine on medium, at least I could sleep, but again, not quiet.-Ceilings are medium height yet the showers are installed at the lower point in the wall so anyone over 5'5" is ducking to get under the water.Quality items:Clean rooms/grounds - well kept courtyardGreat breakfast selection and quality. (See pictures for details)They are renovating but none of the renovations caused any inconveniences or annoyances.I did not use the pool or fitness center.The location is convenient.Overall nowhere near the level of what they charge for rooms at this time.Rooms: Clean, watch out for loud AC.Noteworthy details: Has EV charging if they know how to turn it on.”

“I stayed here for a work training - Region III. It is beautiful! The conference area is great - it has a lot of space and separate areas.Rooms: The room I had had windows right next to the interstate. It was LOUD - I did not hardly sleep at all! If I had a room on the other side of the building, any other of the 3 sides, I'm certain I would have slept great. The rooms are big.Food & drinks: The food is really good at the restaurant! Lots of options. Super friendly staff.”

“We had a table of 19 and the manager was very accommodating. The staff were absolutely fantastic and we never saw a bottom of a glass. We explored many of the menu options from the short rib tacos to the lobster rolls. Everyone agreed that the food was a 10/10. Bold and beautiful flavors! The presentation was also beautiful and not lacking. The relish tray like most supper clubs have, was also a pleasant experience with a cheese pâté, boiled egg, sweet pickles, potato salad and more. The ambience was 2nd to none and we will be back for a date night as it has a really romantic feel. We are a loud Minnesotan family that enjoys family and friends. “We got a burger and wings and both were honestly very good. Very high quality food. We came on a Thursday night for the free acoustic music and we will definitely be back. This is a great idea and I'm glad they do it. This was our first time in here and we loved the vibe of the interior. Cozy but fun. Hams on tap, yum.”

“Wonderful employees. Checking in went smooth and breakfast crew were super kind and helpful. Was very busy upon check in but line moved fast. Lots of food options and plenty places to shop in area. Only downside is pool has special hours which we didn't know upon reserving room. Had to switch days last minute thankfully before they got booked up. Pool is only open on weekends and not Sundays after 12p. Much higher price while charging card than previously said on website. Was an additional $100 than previously shown on their website when they swiped my card. Definitely check the fine print and expect to pay over $300. Does include breakfast though and rooms were spotless.”

Our homie, Gunner, helped make it awesome letting us finish out our last two frames of our game with our birthday party package. Also keeping our belonging safe during laser tag, we truly appreciate you. “Just there for a day conference as a PCA for my client, but there are many issues. First, the handicap accessibility is lacking on the public restrooms; doors are heavy and weighted to close, no handicap door openers. Plus, the restrooms are too small to easily maneuver a wheelchair around in and safely access the handicap stall. As my client had other friends staying at the hotel, we found out that handicap rooms are furthest from the conference rooms and closer to the pool area. This poses a problem for those without a motorized mobility device to get to the events they want because of distance. When I brought up my concerns to the management, I was informed that the hotel was built in 1983, so it wouldn't have to have those features. I found this to be a poor excuse for not upgrading to meet ADA requirements.”
