“The staff is always very helpful and quite knowledgeable in home improvement, unlike a lot of places nowadays. I am a woman who left the store late one evening close to dark, proceeded to crank my vehicle and it would Not crank. My Husband was out of town and I did not know what to do and really did not want to call for a tow truck since it was so close to dark. I went back into the store and 2 employees came out to help me get it started. They made me feel safe and went above and beyond to assist me. So thank you for that!!!
My only con is that I wished they stayed open longer in the evenings like the big box stores. My Husband and I like eating at the Chinese restaurant over by them for dinner and they are often closed by the time we finish eating...so we have to drive all the way to Gautier for home improvement items and would prefer to spend our money at Paris Ace!”
“I came in with an obscure retrofit fitting for an older a/c system that was leaking and these guys were able to get me the right part where Autozone and Advanced Auto Parts just gave me weird looks and told me to look on Amazon. I always check first here when I need something. These guys are great!”

“This is my go to lumber store. They usually match or beat big box stores prices on lumber and other materials. For instance, I needed some 1/2" rebar the other day. Lowes was almost $14 for a 20' stick. Hometown was just under $8. That difference adds up QUICK!!! BTW, they are under new owners/management and they have completely redone the entire show room. Go check them out.”

“Exceptional!!From now on, I will drive to Gulfport to J Allen, from Hattiesburg to do business with Toyota. This will be local dealership. (Btw, Hattiesburg has a Toyota dealership, if you catch me). I received such urgent care on a recall on my Camry when Hattiesburg wouldn't take the time to even care. Jaylen (sp) was very respectful and had my timely needs in mind!! I was planning to leave on Monday on a 9 hr drive and the brake system malfunctioned (the recall) on Friday and he went above and beyond to get my car fixed and me back on the road when Hattiesburg (for the second time) had no time for me and wouldn't even TRY to work me in. I'm highly impressed with J Allen and will continue to drive an hour from now on!!”
