“The very loud recorded welcome made me jump as I entered. Then the security guard on the loud speaker asking the staff member if everything was okay was also startling. But I am pleased to know that DG cares enough to take these safety precautions.”

“I love everything about this store! It’s fun, friendly, well lit, clean bathrooms and funny / super helpful employees! I love that we also overheard the Store Manager get on the radio, and give kudos to a staff member for accomplishing something that they were focused on.I asked her a question about a item and she was so helpful and knowledgeable!! I think her name was Nicki? Anyways, It was super sweet to see how big of a genuine smile the manager and the staff members had !! It made our day and made us feel like we were apart of the team.”
“oh now this is my favorite store of all stores ( except for the store that is on hwy 49 and Edwards St across from Exxon... that store need better management. they are rude and never have shelves stocked. I literally hate that store. now this store ( Edwards St. across from family dollar )I love this store and the people are always and I say again.. ALWAYS VERY NICE AND POLITE. I WILL DRIVE OUT OF MY WAY TO COME TO THIS STORE.”
“If you're looking for an in and out kinda store then this is it. You can run in and usually find what you're looking for rather quickly. When I'm in there I sometimes find something that I didn't know they had. I do like to browse the isles though. Really like shopping @ #dollargeneral.”

“The store went through a remodel recently and the staff is working very hard to restock it up to what it used to be. They also just hired an extremely hot manager (I think that is her position, who knows). Anyways happy shopping everyone.”
“Good people but not very organized a lot of their items don't have prices on them so you have to take them to the cashier and when you look at the yellow bar that's supposed to display the items name and price often it would priced and labeled for a different item then the one on display.”
“Another trip to Hattiesburg means another trip to Buck's. It was the week of Christmas, so the entire store is the normal 50% off. To our surprise, Buck's has actually organized the inventory. Stuff is no longer randomly located everywhere, but there is now organization. You will never know what to find. Great bargains and nice service,”
“This is one of the better Dollar Generals they have a lot in stock and lots of room to shop unlike most Dollar Generals that are small. This one is worth going out of the way for if you can because they have a lot more items than most Dollar Generals”
“I was in here one day and there was only one cashier. The guy was obviously new bc there was a line (I was waiting in as well) and some older woman was getting mad that there wasn't more than one cashier with a line this long. The cashier, being new, was getting kind of nervous at the situation. The lady started demanding to see the manager and he called for him. The manager came and he asked if he could come help him check people out. The manager said, and I quote, "nah bro if you got less than 10 people in line then you good". The manager then turned around and walked off. The lady was really mad at this and started giving the cashier a hard time. I'll hand it to the cashier though, he apologized to the woman and handled it well. Didn't catch his name but he was a pretty professional guy and handled himself well, despite being new.”
“I've been here many times for most of my needs, and the current workers have made a better change in the store. It was previously quite slack and had a lazy environment. I now see new faces and they do their jobs. The managers do awesome jobs at handling disgruntled customers who violate rules and make others uncomfortable. I appreciate them. Today was a great example when a woman tried to steal a mask and intrude in front of others for a phone charger. I'm in the military and I was very tempted to step in, but the manager did her job effectively. The young man who was ringing me up didn't lose focus either, he did his job.”

“Well... There were multiple people working in there which was a pleasant surprise. I asked for help finding a particular item and there was an associate to take me right to it!The shelves were quite bare, which I haven't seen in a dollar tree before. My only guess is that they were in the process of changing our all the holiday stuff. So the selection wasn't what I was hoping for.”
