“Our high school's prom was there. I am new in Jackson and in Mississippi, so I looked forward to experiencing it. Although limited to the area where the prom was held, I thought it wonderful architecture. The servers had delicious food appealing to the senses. I would like to go back and visit for a closer, longer look, but wouldn't know what to do.”

“I fell in love with The Plant Venue the moment I walked in the door. I scheduled a tour with Ansley, and she is a delight. As she showed me each room, she told me the history that went into each room’s name. I especially loved the private rooms. They are perfect for private parties. I also loved the big open space with the beautiful plants…..it overlooks the courtyard.This is the perfect venue for any special event, especially a wedding! It can be transformed into a really magical backdrop. It’s so beautiful.I highly recommend The Plant Venue!⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Cindy Cobb”

“The food and atmosphere was great as always. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star review was the service this visit. We got to our table at 7:00 (which was our reservation time) and didn't leave till after 10:00. We watched other tables come and go, so not sure why it was taking our service so long. Then to cap it off, we ordered a couple desserts and after waiting for them about 20-25 minutes, the waiter tells us, "I'm sorry, we won't be able to serve your desserts tonight", then just walks away, no explanation or anything. It was a really odd experience, never complained or had any issues other than waiting so long, but we were enjoying our company, so we let it go, but by the time we left, it was like, what happened and why did things take so long and what was with the desserts?”

“This is such a unique place! Wonderful event venue as well as a great guitar shop! We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner there. It looked amazing and the catering went perfectly. Quite an accomplishment for a non-standard venue location. Loved the guitars!!!”

“very nice clean hotel quiet rooms no Disturbances at all. hotel bar and food are good, we had a saxophone player entertaining us for the night I tried the blacked wings and they where just perfect with an IPA to wash it down so the evening was just perfect comfortable bed fully stocked mini bar with snacks the cooler is just that not a refrigerator so don't expect to have anything ice cold but it does a good job and doesn't make any noise so it's a bit if a wash for me. the only negative for me would be the pillows, they are two thick for my liking but they are super soft so personal preference doesn't warrant a true negative so the hotel is a 10 out of 10 and would gladly spend a few nights here!”

“Our Granddaughter had her wedding reception at the Rickhouse nice venue. The chicken skewers were a little dry and chewy, spring rolls spicy everyone at our table enjoyed them. EXCELLENT Mac and cheese , the pimento cheese dip very very hot. Best of all was the spinach dip. The ladies at the cash bar were very sweet and on the ball with clearing tables and serving”

“Beautiful! Clean! Right next to the expressway. Great breakfast. My only issue (however small) was that they didn’t have any linen in the room for the pull out sofa. Instead of going to the front desk to get it, we ended up just using the linen from the 2nd ”

“Honestly, very nice room for a very nice price. Room is clean and bed is soft. Yes the stairway could smell nicer and yes their are some spots that could be cleaner but I would still recommend to anyone on a budget or just not wanting to spend a lot. Definitely not as bad as the reviews I’ve seen.”
