“I found A J's by chance one day while I was just out exploring the area. I stopped in to check out what they had and ended up purchasing one of the best Deli ham and cheese sandwhiches that I've had in 40 years. I've been telling my friends since then that it reminded me of when I was a kid and my Dad would take me in these general stores that served great old fasioned grill food right off the flat-top The people were also super friendly and made me feel welcome and I enjoyed the entire experience.I'm going back this morning and haven't decided yet whether I'm going for breakfast or another Deli sandwhich!”

“I t is nice to have a place to get gas in Lucedale, MS that was open at almost 12 a.m. And the gas was $2.03 a gallon. I would have paid .35 cents more at one of the truck stops. Friendly cashier and well lit.”

“Not the cheapest gas station in town but it is good quality gas and never had any water in fuel issues in the gas from here. Also the hangout for local law enforcement so it's always a safe place after dark to fill up.”

“clean restrooms. friendly staff with a great sense of humor, professionalism and efficiency. There is a small deli that has take out pizza and MAYBE a few other items like fried taquita/burito type items.... its gas station food NOT truck stop diner/deli food. But it is a good place to walk your pet or stretch your own legs with a big grassy area. Although some of them are a tad overpriced, there is a great selection of souvenirs, books, and lotto scratchoff tickets”

“I stopped in while traveling to use the restroom and grab snacks, I was very hesitant about using the restroom until I walked in and found it so clean! The cashier was cleaning the front of store when I walked in, store smelled good. My Dad and Mom said it’s always clean and that’s why they wait to stop to this location. Keep up the good work!”

“Great place to stop for snacks, drinking a and other items. I was in need of lotion, but there were no other stores around. The gentleman working showed me the lotions they had after I couldn't find it on the shelves. I was able to find a suitable cream that would have gone unnoticed if not for his help. This store is located directly next to a permanently closed Sonic.”

“As a person of color this is one of the most welcoming truck stops I've ever been to! I got a club sandwich and it was good. Went in for a shower and even though it was small it did its job and was clean! This is about to be a normal stop for me! Most people are probably going to patronize the Loves that they're building across the street but trust me you want to keep truck stops like these in business! This is my second time here and the service remained the same! Being a small truck stop they don't order constantly so some items are low or they're just out but trust me if yall start coming here you'll keep coming and keep this place open!!!! Oh and they have recently paved the parking lot so ignore the dirt lot reviews with potholes because they heard us complain and fixed it! Tell me how many times have loves or pilot done that???”
