“I never got her name, and thats kind of the magic of the whole thing. But I go in sunflower almost every week to get a few things here and there after work.
The cashier lady is the sweetest lil lady I've ever met. One time I came in for beef, and stuff to make pho, she hooked me up with some bean sprouts and even told me how to cook it just right(picture of what i made in comments). Let me say y'all that lady is an angel and I love me some Sunflower. The nicest woman in Picayune.
Now as for the prices on food its very pocket friendly shopping. The meats pretty good, when its crawfish season they have really good crawfish too. I think its worth shopping at if you're on a budget. Take care, God bless.”

“I normally don’t stop at this Dollar General because of the rudeness of one particular individual since the day I moved in this area. I usually drop the extra 4 miles to go to the other Dollar General. But something happened, and I had to go to this Dollar General this morning. I had the greatest Customer service that I have ever experienced in this particular store. I just want your companies to know that whatever changes that you are making I am extremely impressed at this moment in time. I normally don’t do Google Reviews but I just wanted to point out that I see A positive change In this particular store. I want to personally think Jessica, Laura and Tiffany For helping me out and not being rude or disrespectful to me or trying to rush me to get out the store. And I also want to point out that the store actually looked nice and it was completely stocked and I didn’t have to find anything and if I did they were there to help me. I’m so happy I don’t have to drive 4 miles up the road. Mrs. Billy, you probably can learn a thing or two from these three ladies. Many blessings???”
“There is a crack in the pavement in the parking lot, which is almost hard to avoid. It's been like that for 2 years since I moved nearby. They need to fix that soon!”

I know that I can call them about a product and they won’t put me on hold they ACTUALLY TAKE ME WITH THEM TO MAKE SURE ITS THE RIGHT ITEM AND WILL HOLD IT FOR ME!!! So grateful to have them so close to home (1 mile). Their newest employee, Sam, is a real sweetheart and is so kindhearted to us older folks!”
“Its a basic dollar general. Nothing out of the ordinary. The cashiers are always nice and personable. Haven't had any issues at this location with the exception of having to look for the cashier every now and then, but that's the usual at most dollar generals b/c the cashiers also stock. They usually show up pretty quickly when they see a customer and I'm almost always greeted as I enter the store.”
“I love, love the Dollar General . I can get most everything I need there, its quick and easy for me. Its not to big that its overwhelming and its reasonably prized.”
“Prices are not a real good deal. Expired products are still OK but prices are about the same as wally world. Need to balance cost profit I get it. Product would move more and in bulk if price was right and a better reflection of damaged and expired goods..”

He is kind, helpful, and truly cares about giving the best service possible. You could say he is the heart of the store. People like him make all the difference and make you want to come back. “The people that run the place now rally care about the store. They make sure it's clean and they hire good staff. Used to avoid the place and now I go regularly.”
“While the staff was lovely, I was a little disappointed during my last visit. Mainly just with produce. I gave a 4 star because again the staff was great, and the store was clean and organized I did dock 1 star because the produce selection was terrible. Not only were the shelves low the quality was questionable at best. I will definitely not do that portion of my shopping there again unless no other choice. I will say though, their premade sheet pans of Mac n cheese, broccoli cheese rice, and the potato casserole are always winners for events we host. Great price to feed an army! Also will always buy my bulk meat here when on sale! I love that they cut it for me exactly as requested. Best place for steak in town aside from a butcher- picture is my meal I needed to grab some fresh dill, parsley, and mushrooms for that led to the visit in the first place.”
“The door greeter, Theresa , was awesome!! She was very kind and funny. If the management sees this, they need to give her a big raise because she truly does her job and she actually treats her customers like people instead of plain customers. I loved talking to her and she made my shopping experience amazing.”

“I would like to give a big shout out to the cashiers on 12/18 at noon I walked in and shelves were fully stocked, I went to pay and a gentleman didn't have a dollar needed for qtips, I paid for it and he thanked me and the mgr gave me $5 credit, awesome customer service!!”
