“You may remember TEXACO because "You can trust your car to the man who wears the star" but this particular gas station is known far and wide for its fried chicken. One of the few TEXACO gas stations left around, this busy stop on Harper Road may well sell more fried chicken than gasoline because many people swear what the sign in the window proclaims- Best Chicken in Town. A friend goes here regularly for her fried chicken liver and JoJo potato fix. Regular or spicy, if you like fried chicken maybe you should give it a try.”

“I got there just as they had closed one night and they opened the door and let me in anyway. I was about to drive away and they stopped me. Who does that anymore? They are great, friendly folks”
