“I don't usually expect gas station clerks to be all that friendly because, in my experience, they're usually not. But even im having a bad day, I know I can stop in here, and Amber will be here with a huge smile on her face as always ☺️ thank you for always brightening up my day with your warmth and friendly attitude. You deserve a raise ?”

“Local gas station. Not a big chain but great when I'm in a hurry. Easy to get in, get gas and be on your way. Inside has all the basics. A little more expensive than QT with less items Inside but still a great option on my way to work.”

“Quick trip is always consistent. You can get In-N-Out quick. They have cold drinks. The only downside is the receipt added. The islands are sometimes lacking paper.”

“I stopped enroute into Blue Springs for a soda I needed wash down my morning set of 12 meds and some cheerful chat with the young, overnight fellow. He encouraged me to try two flavors of Grandma's cookies, two to a package, so I picked up peanut butter and also dark fudge yum yum! Being a first class glutton, as I made my reverse trip back home, I stopped again at Phillips 66, and purchased two more packages of the fudge cookies and the peanut butter type. My morning blood sugar readings have been in the two figure realm and my most recent A1C reading was excellent last Friday, but I'm not going to ruin it all by having every kind of sugar but I can find!!! ????????? ??”

“I like the staff particularly! For me, gas stations are just gas stations for more or less, the same anywhere.. so long as serve my need.. so the staff is where its important to shine! & Here the staff are good-minded folk w/ friendly personalities, helpful attitudes, & not afraid to joke around w/ you, whether ur a regular or just passing through”

“I go to this location all the time and it is by far one of the better ones I have been to. My only complaint is to stop overcooking the cookies. This is the only Casey's I've been to where their cookies are not soft and it's disappointing lol. That's it, everything else is good lol.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
