“Honea Auto Body was recommended by friends at Washington University when I requested the need for help. I later found out that they are often the body shop patents recommend from WashU.
My son got a quote from owner Ken who was professional. The quote was difficult for my son to receive with paying half since we are cash pay.
I called Ken to discuss the estimate and he was able to make a few tweaks that lowered the price and improved the part to an OEM. WOW! Not expected. I scheduled the repairs.
Since I live out of town I arranged for a time I was visiting. My son dropped off and repairs were completed under the estimated three days. But a snag in the lights caused a delay. It was not there problem. They went well beyond to fix the issue and eventually did with only a small delay. Ken bent over backwards to ensure it was working correctly.
Delivery of the car was easy. Ken explained the process he used to repair the car showing us the old bumper. He also explained the difficulty with the electrical that was resolved with great pain and add cost he did not transfer to us. Double WOW!!! The cost came in even a bit less than the revised quote some how,
The shop may not look like much from the front, but it's quite large. It once was a building used to perform maintenance on city buses.
Let's be clear on typical body shops, they can take advantage of you. Dealers charge premium on labor. I'm so impressed with Honea and have already recommended them to others.”

Jack Hunter (Owner) took the time initially to not only show and explain to me all that was needed and/or required to repair my car, but also created a “Repair Plan” which included the total cost thereby eliminating any additional “surprise” damages or costs.
Once the work was completed on my vehicle, they honored the “Repair Plan” cost they had quoted to me and the repair work was done to perfection.
One of the best business interactions I have ever dealt with and I honestly can not recommend them highly enough. On a scale of 1 to 10 – they are a 20!

“Outside part of the doors hit were good it was the inside disappointments and multiple trips afterwards. Then three seperate trips to the bodyshop should not happen to any customer. 1st to pick up the car it was very dirty inside. The passenger side was hit and decals I ordered for the inside of the car were missing. Then the door weather strips were bad and the wheel alignment needing readjusting. So I returned a 2nd time.

The did compensate me for everything. I went back a 3rd time and they fixed everything to earn a revised 5-stars.”

“In August 2021 my 1953 Ford Sunliner stopped running while on the highway. It was towed to Its Alive and a broken wire was found in the distributor. Since then, Its Alive mechanics have fixed the trans. linkage, installed seat belts, installed power brake booster, fixed a heat gauge, adjusted the valves and fixed a persistent small transmission leak. Jeff and his mechanics were always fair, knowledgeable and responsive.”

“Phenomenal work at a very competitive price. I got only my hood repainted as it was previously scuffed up bad from years of neglect and living under the hot Arizona sun, so don’t judge the rest of the front end in the photo. They only painted the hood per my request.
The finished work far exceeded my expectations, and especially for the cost. The shop also did a great job getting my truck in and out the door from the time I scheduled an appointment. Do be patient as they have a steady flow of customers. I was recommended this auto body by a neighbor who had called around and said Jokerst has the most competitive pricing for the work delivered in the South County area. I am overly enthusiastic about the result and strongly recommend going through these guys. They’ve been in the business for a long time and know what they are doing. “Incredible work and extremely friendly service. I had a mail box jump out of nowhere when I was backing my car in. Left a decent sized dent and these guys took care of it. Basically like it never happened, I’m very impressed with the work and it was reasonably priced. No where near what I was bracing myself for. On top of all that, Jeff was nice enough to give me a ride to and pick me up from my house because it was so cold outside. Total time from drop off to repair was about an hour and half.
