“Seemed to overemphasize amount of queer stuff, really wanted a more traditional book store. Actually tired of all the political slant at bookstores. Do they really need pride flags and blm.....lets just focus on books and things that unite us please”
“I decided to pop in for a few minutes while exploring Central West End, and I was not disappointed! Left Bank Books is a true gem, and the staff were all very friendly. I definitely plan on coming back soon.”
“If you are looking for popular Christian books, you should be able to find some here. It is a church bookstore, not a full-fledged bookstore, so you won't find thousands of titles. Prices are decent and there are always reduced priced books available.”
“A smallish, carefully curated bookstore! A place to browse and discovery wonderful books. A perfect selection of children's books, local interest and nature-lover's titles. I found two books I'd never heard of, and could scarcely walk across the street to me car without starting to read! (There's a large, free, public parking lot in back, btw). What a great find in (downtown?) Webster Groves!!”
“I'm here on business for a couple weeks so I spend all my spare time here reading a book in the cafe drinking an Earl Grey tea. I love the atmosphere and the people working there are very friendly. I am not impressed with the book selection here but I don't really go there to buy books... I go there to read and relax.”
“Great to see Grand Ave finally get a record store. And while it's small, it packs a solid punch. Their hours are a little rough...like getting to places before 5 is not the easiest thing for workin' folk. But the owner's really nice and he has a really cool dog, too.”
“The Daughters of St. Paul are a wonderful, welcoming, and devout community of women devoted to spreading the Good News through their shop. Got the Bible and card that I needed for a Confirmation gift. Always to visit the sisters and the store.”
“It's just something about the smell and feel of books. They have a great book selection, and if they don't have a book you're looking for, they will order it for you!”
“Always have the book you are looking for. It is a bit pricey, but these are quality editions of your favorite stories, others will sell at lower prices to get your business overall. Can always expect quality out of Barnes.”
“I love books and bookstores! Finally got the chance to step into Dunaway Books, and the place is beautiful. A really eclectic collection of rare and vintage books, as well as less expensive fiction and nonfiction titles. A word of warning: make sure you have a few hours to spend before you go in... you're going to need it.”
“Renewed my faith in a well stocked, clean book store. I haven't been to one in awhile, went in just looking for anything discounted, and ended up finding a packed store. Enjoyed a good conversation about a genre and bought a book!! Check out was easy. Thanks for a great experience.”
“This is my go to book store for all the children in my life. I love that the bookstore is black owned and most of their books are by black authors. Their shipping is wicked fast. Their prices are extremely resonante. They have a loyal customer!”
“I loved this bookstore! It has an amazing collection of anything and everything you need, very well organized. It's a really cool place where you can easily spend hours browsing. I also appreciated that there is parking across the road, making it very convenient to find and access. I definitely recommend a visit!”
“I have always loved Half Price Books since I discovered one in Dallas Texas. I was so happy when they opened this location in University City, MO. They have a great combination of new and used books for a low price.”
“Excellent publisher for trustworthy confessional Lutheran resources! Great customer service to your satisfaction. Enjoy the NQP options along with new releases for both lay and professional users.”

9261 Dielman Industrial Dr, St. Louis“I ordered through Walmart, but received an email from the companies customer service immediately. I worked with Gage to customize the front cover and back cover. He sent over a proof for me to approve prior to printing the product. I'm across the country in California and the shipping was incredibly fast. The product looks great!! Good quality for the price, very happy with my purchase. I will order directly through them next time I have a need for personalized/custom coloring books.”
“The folks here are SO SWEET! There were some issues getting me my package (I live a few hours away and ordered a special edition a few months in advance, PLUS i moved during the time between placing my order and it arriving) and they were incredibly patient and kind and proactive in getting me my book. Thank you to every one of y’all who called me to verify my address or to check with me about details. I really appreciate how helpful everyone was and how they were determined to get me my book! It arrived in perfect condition with a cute bookmark too! Thank you to The Novel Neighbor—I will definitely be checking out the store when I am next in the area :)”
