“The Daughters of St. Paul are a wonderful, welcoming, and devout community of women devoted to spreading the Good News through their shop. Got the Bible and card that I needed for a Confirmation gift. Always to visit the sisters and the store.”

“I had a wonderful time at the Beto O'Rourke event that The Novel Neighbor hosted. It was very well organized, and all the staff were so friendly! I didn't need to buy a book, but those who were were able to do so easily. I had some time to poke around the store beforehand and got a few goodies. Filled to the brim with books, and also fun gifts and stickers and things. Their Taylor Swift section is top notch!! Easily my favorite local bookstore in STL, I wish I lived closer.”

“Seemed to overemphasize amount of queer stuff, really wanted a more traditional book store. Actually tired of all the political slant at bookstores. Do they really need pride flags and blm.....lets just focus on books and things that unite us please”

“A smallish, carefully curated bookstore! A place to browse and discovery wonderful books. A perfect selection of children's books, local interest and nature-lover's titles. I found two books I'd never heard of, and could scarcely walk across the street to me car without starting to read! (There's a large, free, public parking lot in back, btw). What a great find in (downtown?) Webster Groves!!”

“I absolutely love Barnes and Nobles in general but In the STL area this one is my favorite! They always have a ton of manga and they keep their toys and merchandise in stock! On top of everything the people that work there are super sweet and they have a nice sit down cafe where you can do some work if need be! If you were looking for a book to read or just browse I would highly recommend this store!”

“Great to see Grand Ave finally get a record store. And while it's small, it packs a solid punch. Their hours are a little rough...like getting to places before 5 is not the easiest thing for workin' folk. But the owner's really nice and he has a really cool dog, too.”

“If you are looking for popular Christian books, you should be able to find some here. It is a church bookstore, not a full-fledged bookstore, so you won't find thousands of titles. Prices are decent and there are always reduced priced books available.”

“One of my favorite B&Ns in the area. They have a really great selection of books and their cafe always has ample places to seat and enjoy a hot tea and baked goods. The staff is very helpful. You can spend hours browsing this place! It is a bit pricier than Amazon but nothing beats the feeling of picking out a book in person and curling up to read it right away.”

“The STL area is so lucky to have The Book House! It is such a charming space--two entire stories of books, complete with shop cats! (What more could a book lover ask for?) The Book House is a great place to linger and explore--it has a really warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere (with huge shelves, books stacked on every available surface, it basically looks like every charming indie bookshop you see in movies.) They have a wonderful mix of new, used, and special edition books, and a nice selection dedicated specifically to STL-focused books. They also do a nice of spotlighting local authors, which is a welcome addition. I would say their on-ground selection skews more towards new books than used ones, but their small, dedicated used book section has lots of treasures, there are used books to be found throughout, and their online site also offers a lot of options in a range of price points. A delightful indie bookstore which is a cozy, welcoming place to spend an afternoon!”

“I ordered through Walmart, but received an email from the companies customer service immediately. I worked with Gage to customize the front cover and back cover. He sent over a proof for me to approve prior to printing the product. I'm across the country in California and the shipping was incredibly fast. The product looks great!! Good quality for the price, very happy with my purchase. I will order directly through them next time I have a need for personalized/custom coloring books.”
