“I am completing all “100 things to do in Columbia, MO” book (by MU professor Steven Paul Sayers) and I make reels about them.
This was a fun store to pop in and look. We came from Shakespeares and might have been a little tipsy only adding to the wonder of the store ?. Would be a neat place to get something for someone artsy or hard to buy for.”

“Tin Roof had so many gift items in so many different categories! And when I say gift, I mean give to me!! Everything from pickleball, Mahjong, kids, kitchen items, decor, jewelry and handbags! It's not in a super high traffic area, so you might not find it by accident. It is definitely a great place to shop!”

“Becky and crew are awesome. We were looking for a new kitchen light and they made a recommendation. We had our electrician install it along with a dimmer switch. The dimmer would not work, so I made a trip into the office. Becky printed a list of compatible dimmers and our electrician had used them to no avail. A quick call and they sent a troubleshooter over. Within 5 minutes he diagnosed the issue and assured us they would make it right.
I highly recommend this local business for it's excellent customer service and after sale support.”
“Visited Hockman's Saturday 4/11/26 after seeing a beautiful dress on their Facebook page during the previous week I messaged them and received a very quick response re: size and pricing. When we arrived we were greeted with friendly faces. I informed them that I wanted to see the dress I inquired about on their page. The kind lady took me directly to the area and recalled my FB msg. We were met with multiple racks of beautiful clothing. We spent much time in the store and had difficulty making decisions. We were so happy with the selections offered, the layout of the store, and the overall friendliness. I am certain we will be back.
