“The store is clean and well stocked, plus the prices are great. There's a nice variety of items to choose from. My only complaint is that there is always a long line of people at check out because they only have 1 cashier. But I will say that the cashiers are usually extremely fast!”

“Always clean and well stocked. Staff is always great, very friendly. This particular Schnuck's is reminiscent of the small grocery stores of my childhood. You see the same staff day after without the turnover of employees. They're almost like family.”

“I bought soursop bitters from here, and it really helped me burn fat and improved my skin so much. I had xanthomas, and they have cleared. I feel good when using it; it revives my energy during the day. I don't feel tired like I used to, and I don't experience body pain anymore. I really love the soursop bitters, and I have been recommending them to my friends and co-workers. I need to keep getting the bitters; I love them.”
“Schnucks — ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 Stars
Schnucks is a pretty good store to shop at overall. This particular location is functional, and I can usually find what I need, although I do think some of the prices can be a little higher than I would like.
One thing I sometimes struggle with is finding certain items. Even when I look at the signs above the aisles, there are times when I still have trouble locating exactly what I'm looking for. You can usually find an employee to ask for help, although sometimes it seems like they may be short-staffed. But when you do find someone, they are generally very friendly and willing to help.
Now, this isn't just about Schnucks—this is something I wish more stores would improve on in general. When a customer asks an employee where something is, I wish the employee would take the extra two minutes to actually walk the customer to the aisle instead of simply pointing in a direction. Sometimes you get to the aisle and you're still searching, which can become frustrating and feel like you're on a scavenger hunt!
As far as the appearance of this particular Schnucks, I think it could use a little modernization. When I compare it to some of the Schnucks locations in St. Charles, Frontenac, or Manchester, those stores are absolutely beautiful and feel much more updated.
With all that being said, I'm always going to be honest in my reviews. This Schnucks is okay, functional, and the staff I've encountered have been friendly. There are just a few areas where I think the store could improve.

“I live 6 miles from this Schnucks, there is 1 closer to my home but I prefer this 1 because of just about everything they stand for, convenient, helpful, friendly staff from the cashiers to the guy who collects the carts to the security guard...

“I was at the donut shop just up to Plaza from here and decided on my way out I would stop in and see what this place was about. They have a few groceries there that are something that you can't find in any other grocery store it's definitely worth popping in their prices aren't bad it's reasonable and you're helping out a family-owned business. They were very eager to help not just them but people that were shopping there as well were very eager to help me find some things that I was asking for or about. They have meat there and I have to say that it does look fresher and cleaner than what you would get at the grocery store at a lower price. Definitely worth my time I'm coming back every payday for sure. Now you can't get all your grocery needs here but you can get quite a bit and change up your diet and menu some.”
“This Save-A-Lot store is clean and stocked with fresh food. The aisles are impeccable, the floors shine and the employees are helpful. I want to move to the area just for the customer service. Great job.”
“Aldi is the affordable food and sundry item grocery store. No one appreciates the .25 cart rental / returns. But you get used to it. It's not disabled customer friendly. There is normally only 1 checkout line open for long lines of customers. Not recommended for impatient people who selfishly complain loudly about what we are all experiencing. I don't like that we need to bring our own bags. It keeps costs down I guess. I choose to wait rather than use self-checkout. There is no discount for performing an unpaid service. We also help keep the checker employed by not bowing to corporate greed. Food quality is acceptable. So I continue to shop there.”

“My medication was ready within hours even with needing a prior authorization. With my last pharmacy it would take days and I would have to call the doctor myself.I will forever be using this pharmacy because I was treated with respect.”

“I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the store as I hadn’t been there in a while. The store was clean, stocked and most importantly, the aisles were NOT blocked with stock waiting to be put on the shelves. The staff was helpful and pleasant. I stopped going to this store due to the massive amount of clutter & the difficulty of maneuvering around the store. I bought more than I came in for because I feel it’s good to patronize stores that are doing their part to make shopping a pleasant experience. Thanks to the staff & whoever is in charge of turning this store around! I’ll be back soon!”
