“A true local place to buy gas, liquor, etc. Staff gets to know the regular customers and treats them like friends. A nice barbecue food trailer outside that has a very loyal following. Almost always the least expensive place to buy gas in the immediate area if you pay cash.”
“I go there often and they are always friendly. Many food items are more expensive than the grocery store but that is to be expected. They have a pretty good selection of alcohol.”

“Wasn't a planned stop on our cross country trip but was one of the best. Was traveling for a funeral and my inlaws truck, something caused the windows to shatter. I'm glad this is the place we stopped. The people on staff today were fantastic to say the least. They gave us a broom to clean up our glass and helped us with cons cardboard and tape to hold the windows during our travels. Upstanding customer service from these workers.”
“My Fiance got me hip to this place. I've only been here 4 times so far. BUT. The people here are extremely humble and appreciative of everyone that goes through their doors. A small place with a lot of heart and smiles inside. They're one of the few places out here that treat me like I'm human and not worried about my skin color. For that. I too am appreciative.”

“I've been going to this place since it's inception 30+ years ago... Known by the locals as U-Gas. The food here is fantastic, and if Dreama is working you will get called honey or babe etc etc. she's worked here almost as long as the place has been there... Great place to go for gas, air, or food, even a late night meal. You can find most anything here. The air is on the side of the building and guess what....... It's actually free! Yes, free. Anyway this is your 1 stop.”
“The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with everything I need. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they always make sure to greet you with a smile. I love that they have a wide selection of snacks, drinks, and essential items, and their prices are reasonable. The location is super convenient too, with ample parking. Highly recommend this spot for a quick stop whenever you’re in the area…”

It’s quick trip for a reason, use both sides of register, multitask, direct and deli-gate. Target market and location is on point but don’t crack under pressure and become verbally immature with customers. 5 stars because location is key and this is my first issue, but rude is never the right attitude. Just be kind”

“I had a problem with an item I purchased at the shanty. It only cost 18$ so I did not expect them to be able to return or exchange a small item like the one I bought. I talked to Jesse on the phone and dealt with Brenda in the store and they were more than helpful. They Determined that it may have been a defective product and they exchanged the item that I bought for no cost. I guarantee there is no other store around that would have done this for me. In the past $18 wouldn’t have mattered to me I probably wouldn’t have even called, but I recently had a child and money is tighter than ever LOL. I appreciate the favor, keep with the good business and I will be back in the future! Thanks girls!”

“This gas station did me a solid tonight and they really didnt have to. My dumbass put the rest of my money on the wrong pump, and garbage can hillbilly pulls up, steals my gas, and leaves. The clerk calls the manager and together they decided to give me gas out of their money. I hate this town but for once in my life, I found myself grateful to be here. The people at this gas station genuinely care about their customers, and are kind and understanding towards airheaded adhd brains like myself. A huge thanks to the kind and caring crew here, much love!!”

“Amazing and honest staff. I came in town from Illinois for my daughters softball tournament last week. While purchasing Ice I dropped my wallet. I realized once we got home that my wallet was lost. The manager contacted me and said they found my wallet and 15 minutes later he mailed my wallet to me in Illinois. As you can imagine what a mess it would have been to replace credit cards, ID's and the cash. This manager went out of his way to do this for me. What a great place!”

Bonus the store is spotless so is the parking lot I'm really impressed with your employees Circle K keep it up.”

“Great place. We've been in the neighborhood about two years now, and this has become our favorite gas station. The staff are always friendly, it's clean, and it's in the heart of many neighborhoods. We get our gas 95% of the time here and haven't had any problems; including diesel, which they offer. It's also great knowing the police station is basically right next door as well, and it's well-lit.”
“I observed the lady working as cashier walk into the lot to pick up a single item of trash left behind. I walked in to pay for a bag of ice and was impressed at how clean it was inside. A week later I walked in to buy another bag of ice and it was equally clean which tells me this is a group effort. Kudos to the staff; I'll keep coming back.”
