“I love this Costco! We moved to Lee's Summit on Easter and hoped we'd have a nice Costco nearby, as we had a brand new one in Henderson NV where we moved from. I thought that one would be hard to beat. This location is even better! I have been able to upgrade my T-Mobile phone and service here. No activation or line fee for Costco customers. You have to pay that in their stores or even online, so that will save you $35 or $70 depending on your plan. I also love the HUGE selection of meat here!! We are certainly in BBQ country!! The packer brisket and pork butts alone make it worth the trip. Also, after being Costco customers for years, we finally tried the rotisserie chicken. OMG! Outside of my own smoked chicken and Stroud's it's the best I've ever had!! Moist, tender and delicious. HUGE birds for $5! No hormones or antibiotics either. I'm so impressed. Great sales, Chiefs items and apparel, great prices on food and household goods plus services. What's not to love? Oh, every staff member I've spoken to here has been just excellent. Costco takes care of their people first and you can tell they are happy. I am a Costco customer for life. I may try other locations in the metro area, but Independence is amazing!”

“OMGosh I love Sam's Club Cafe for a quick bite ... UNBELIEVABLE how cheap it is for me to eat there before shopping w My Granddaughters ... The food is always so fresh and hot ... The only problem we had was on July 17th we were there and we got the hotdog combo w a icee and they just charged us more for it ... Today she would not let us buy it that way ... She said she couldn't... I told her we had did it just a week before and she argued w me... So we just let her do it her way ?♀️?♀️?♀️?♀️?♀️?♀️”

“I had to search the entire town for T Shirt bags for my work. It seems like Sam's club are the only store that carries them. So that was an A plus for me. You have to have a member ship to shop there. I was a little bummed over that. But when I met Monique at the membership. She explained to me all the Benefit on getting an upgrade. "You want to get cash back when you shop?" " You want to get 5 % back on gas?" "You can use the card anywhere?" That right there I saw the bigger picture that will benefit me. Overall, Monique is pretty awesome. Sam's club has my Tires, My Groceries, my things I need work and my business. Thanks Monique! Abe”

“They close the inside pharmacy window at like 4pm so if you have a job and want to pick up your script after work be prepared to have a bit of a wait from time to time. But most of the time there is only 1 or 2 people ahead and the staff is very professional from what I saw. Changed my review because of their professionalism. Good job.”

“I came to the store in search of artisan cheese, and I was pleased to find a massive cheese counter. I had hoped to find more local cheeses, but they did have several from Hemme Brothers, so that was great. The selection of quality Wisconsin cheeses was strong. I'd definitely come by here again if I was in the area.”

“I came here to do a pre-travel Covid test and also pick up test kits. The pharmacy tech was very helpful, and she helped facilitate a prescription for a starter pack of monthly kits through my insurance (mine allowed 8 tests per month, which is the norm).The testing sign up process is a bit of a pain, but appointment availability was good here, and I didn’t find the process too painful overall. The test kits were ready pretty quickly. Overall the customer service is good, but the hours of operation are a bit limited.”

“My favorite grocery store in independence. Whenever I'm in town I always stop here. They have a great selection of beers and actually a great selection of everything. I love only going here to get everything. The best part is the employees and managers who go out of their way to help. I accidentally bought the wrong type of tea and brought it back to return. The people were so nice when I brought it back and gave me advice on some types I'd never tried. The stores where I'm from probably wouldn't even let me return it much less know something about their products.”
