“This is an amazing place to show with low prices, compared to the competitors. This place is great for lower income families and has many good options for food drinks and some cleaning supplies. The only minor thing that I have to complain about is that you are required to either pay or bring your own plastic bags to carry your items home. This is a minor detail, but never the less is a great place to shop!”
“Price Chopper's sales can't be beat, and meats, fish and produce are always FRESH! The stores are always clean, and the staff is personable. Self chedkouts are great for smaller shopping lists, but cashiers are available for those with full carts. Price Chopper also offers choice of plastic or paper bags (with handles)!”

“@ this location the deli stuff and Staff are exceptional. When I purchased the $24 Friday Fish Deal 2/27/26, it was hot and fresh baby! It was packed with such loving care and all my items were nicely cooked. The fish was crunchy and fresh, the vegetables were beautifully sauteed not soggy and the fries were hot and crispy which is a must.
The Staff at this deli location are super kind and very helpful. They have come from behind the counter to assist me with items located within their area. The deli Staff has also advised me on purchases tailored to us so that I don't waste our money.
Friday was a great day and the best part of my day was my visit to the deli and my encounter with the Staff- particularly the lady who packed my food at lunchtime. I appreciate you. The lovely banter between the employees in the deli is delightful to see and hear, keep it up!”

**My only critique, just recently everything was moved around, Why?. I spent almost fifteen minutes longer than I should trying to find where things were. Several other customers commented or asked me where this or that was, and especially for the Elderly they are used to keeping things the same and now have to wander all over the store to find things.”

“The staff is nice, building is a bit run down could use some work it makes it look dirty . I would suggest closing for a few days repaint the walls , new flooring and new doors . They have good quality food . We shop here at least once a week for misc groceries we didnt get when we were out doing our main grocery shopping. The prices are great and comparable to the other local grocery stores .”
“My favorite grocery store in independence. Whenever I'm in town I always stop here. They have a great selection of beers and actually a great selection of everything. I love only going here to get everything. The best part is the employees and managers who go out of their way to help. I accidentally bought the wrong type of tea and brought it back to return. The people were so nice when I brought it back and gave me advice on some types I'd never tried. The stores where I'm from probably wouldn't even let me return it much less know something about their products.”
“Upon reading other recent reviews I was skeptical, but after my own experiences with this pharmacy, the pharmacy team does a great job. They text me when a medication is ready or on order, and if they have questions about a medication, they send out a text or phone call as well. I worked in the pharmacy for 15 years myself, so I understand some of the issues a pharmacy can run into. I appreciate that the cost is much lower here than other pharmacies on medications, as I pay out of pocket. Not to mention, it's my favorite hyvee to do my grocery shopping.”

“This is my go-to Dollar General because it's super close to my house. They have what I need 99% of the time; if they don't I usually knew it was a long shot going in.They always have something on sale that I decide I need for some reason or other.Example: It's a great place to get planters. Which isn't to say they carry a lot of planters. They do not. 50% off mug? Drill a hole in it: now it's a planter. Plastic basket? Add some holes: now it's a planter! Serving tray? Now it's a repotting tray. You get the point. Their lack of planters doesn't mean it's not a great place to get planters.Also, cheap Gatorade. Summer is coming. Stay hydrated.”

“Aldi prices are lower than the well established grocery stores around. If I can't find an item, the store team member will show me where to find it. No matter what store location, when there's only two check registers open they seem to get you in and out. I usually shop at Aldi unless there's something specific another store has that they don't.”
