“Costco gas while always the same price as the other warehouse club it is a much better gas. See Costco's gas is actually a top tier gas while the other is not. There are some slightly better advantages to using a top tier gas then not. Also while both have a tenant working the pumps at Costco they are always out and about and you can get their help very easily while the other club they always seem to be hiding in the shack and whenever you push the button for help they never answer. Plus at Costco you can use your phone to do everything while at the other one you can only use your phone if you have a card linked to your account, meaning you can use your phone to scan your membership like you can at Costco and then pay with whatever card you wish. They both only take a card for purchase and no cash. But if you want to pay cash you can just purchase a gift card and use it at the pump.”

“I should spend the majority of my money here it's just always so busy you have to hunt for a parking space where I'll just sit and watch someone putting all their stuff in their car just to get that spot. But otherwise it's always great prices to cut inflation I mean the theft that is inflation.”

“I love this Costco! We moved to Lee's Summit on Easter and hoped we'd have a nice Costco nearby, as we had a brand new one in Henderson NV where we moved from. I thought that one would be hard to beat. This location is even better! I have been able to upgrade my T-Mobile phone and service here. No activation or line fee for Costco customers. You have to pay that in their stores or even online, so that will save you $35 or $70 depending on your plan. I also love the HUGE selection of meat here!! We are certainly in BBQ country!! The packer brisket and pork butts alone make it worth the trip. Also, after being Costco customers for years, we finally tried the rotisserie chicken. OMG! Outside of my own smoked chicken and Stroud's it's the best I've ever had!! Moist, tender and delicious. HUGE birds for $5! No hormones or antibiotics either. I'm so impressed. Great sales, Chiefs items and apparel, great prices on food and household goods plus services. What's not to love? Oh, every staff member I've spoken to here has been just excellent. Costco takes care of their people first and you can tell they are happy. I am a Costco customer for life. I may try other locations in the metro area, but Independence is amazing!”

“We were visiting the area and made a quick visit to this Costco soon before closing, which was great, as it was emptying out. I was impressed by the large selection of artisan cheese and made a new acquisition, while my husband was happy to find cases of local beer for a good price. The self checkout was super fast thanks to a helpful employee who scanned the beer.”

Melanie was fantastic, my progressive no line bifocals with all the bells and whistles was literally 1/2 what the big place on the cliff charged. A week later I got them picked up and were amazing, the fit, clarity and crispness were exactly what I wanted in a second pair. Needless to say I'll return with my Rx to have everything lens/frame related done here.”

“This is almost always the cheapest gas around, but there is usually a line for gas. I’m not happy that they’ve removed the soda machine. Sometimes it’s nice to grab a soda while waiting to gas up after work. Just remember that they close early, at 8:40, I believe.”

Very detailed & thoroughly explains throughout the exam. My daughter feels very comfortable every year. “I had to search the entire town for T Shirt bags for my work. It seems like Sam's club are the only store that carries them. So that was an A plus for me. You have to have a member ship to shop there. I was a little bummed over that. But when I met Monique at the membership. She explained to me all the Benefit on getting an upgrade. "You want to get cash back when you shop?" " You want to get 5 % back on gas?" "You can use the card anywhere?" That right there I saw the bigger picture that will benefit me. Overall, Monique is pretty awesome. Sam's club has my Tires, My Groceries, my things I need work and my business. Thanks Monique! Abe”

“Sam's club is always easy, because no matter how busy if you check out using the mobile app you can just walk past the registers and pay on your phone. I did however notice that this time they didn't have there been of empty boxes up near the front like they normally did, did kind of suck having to go find a box to put my stuff in.”
