From day one, their communication has been outstanding. Kenny is absolutely amazing to work with. He's responsive, patient, and always willing to help, whether it's a last-minute jersey change, adding a new player, or answering my hundredth question. Nothing is ever too much to ask, and that level of customer service is hard to find.

The quality of the uniforms and apparel is top-notch. The materials hold up, the colors are vibrant, and the attention to detail is excellent. “Good Job Lees Summit store. Olathe you need to step up your game. I am writing this review hoping it reaches corporate leadership at DICK’S Sporting Goods, because the in-store resolution process completely failed. Until I went to the Lees Summit location.

I received a kayak as a gift that was purchased from Dicks. The kayak was never used, never placed in the water, and remained hanging in my garage with all original factory stickers still attached. When preparing to use it for the first time, I discovered it was missing the seat strap system — a required component that should have been included with the product at purchase.

I brought the kayak back to the Olathe store expecting reasonable customer support for an incomplete product. Instead, the store manager, Ashley, refused to offer any solution. The store would not exchange the kayak, could not provide or order the missing part, and the only guidance I received was to “go to Amazon and buy a new seat.”

When I asked for clarification on why an unused product missing factory components could not be addressed, I was told it was “manager’s discretion” and that the exchange was being denied because the kayak had dust on it — despite the fact it had clearly never been used. I went to the Lee’s Summit store and they help me resolve my issue. They looked up the purchase and let me know I had a year warranty and gave me the part I needed. This is how I would think all the stores should operate. I was very disappointed with Dicks sporting goods but apparently it’s only the Olathe store I need to avoid from now.”
