“Ray was very knowledgeable and helped me select shoes that fit much better than my existing shoes. I had good quality Hoka shoes, but unbeknownst to me, they were not really the right shape for my foot. The new ones are basically the same cost as the old ones, but they clearly fit my feet better. He guided me also to inserts that improved the fit further, and also tied the laces differently to hold the heel better. (I also left with better socks and nice pants.) It really was a perfect experience for selecting shoes.”

“This review is long overdue... I've been going to Racketman for over 15 yrs due to my daughter being heavily involved in tennis. So we have been in there quite frequently over the years and I have never once left disappointed. Jim (the owner) is a great guy and always willing to help with advice on anything and everything tennis related. And the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful as well. It's just a really great place with great inventory and great people. There are very few businesses anymore that truly earn the loyalty of their customers on an ongoing basis... Racketman does.”

Kevin and others went so far and above the "taking orders and using the cash register" that I usually see in any retail shop. I've gotten seriously great equipment insights and service without a "sales pitch." I've been in sales my whole life, and was raised by a salesman so I am very kean on this regard.
These guys are legit. I believe I am getting honesty and top notch service from these guys. My new go-to for all things golf and my only recommendation to anyone I encounter from here on out.
Whoever is in charge, manager or owner, please read this and use these guys as an example as you bring in and train new people.

He first studied my old pair of running shoes and listened to what I liked, didn't like, and needed in a pair of shoes. “They don't give a whole lot for used gear, but I get it, they have to make their money. Great for finding used kids sports items but there really weren't a lot of used adult soccer cleats so I had to get my big footed child new ones. They're good quality though and the employees are helpful for someone like me who doesn't know much about sportball.”
“It's a great little sportsman store. They got a wide selection everything from fishing equipment to guns to clothing. I think they even have some rafts and stuff like that. Prices seem pretty fair and the staff is pretty knowledgeable and friendly. I probably buy something from them once or twice a year and have been for years. Overall it's a good store.”

“I cannot say enough good things about OMG and Coach Yama! Our daughter has taken about a dozen private lessons with him and her skills have exponentially improved. Coach Yama is so patient and really makes sure the players have correct form and technique. It’s more than a typical soccer practice - he covers strength, speed, agility, precision and performance. Our daughter wasn’t able to play competitively for several months due to medical reasons so we originally planned on taking lessons as an outlet for her love of the game but we’ve continued with the lessons even now that she’s able to play competitively again because we’ve seen so much improvement and she loves it!”

“I bought an elliptical from Johnson fitness and they were very helpful during my visit. They weren’t pushy at all and pointed me towards the machine that they felt best fit my needs. They carry higher end equipment, and are much more knowledgeable of it than many who you might encounter at the larger big box stores. I didn’t realize that they carried all of the fancy massage chairs, so I will definitely be back.”
“Nick, the REI bike mechanic, rocks! He happily took on the challenge of repairing the front forks and wheel of our Bike Friday tandem after a minor accidental that bent both the forks and disc brakes. We were very fortunate that he had the bandwidth and skill to carry out this unusual repair. REI is lucky to have him.”

“We used classic carpentry when we completely redid our kitchen 3 years ago. Jim was very professional, timely and the craftsmanship is awesome. We absolutely love our new kitchen, the cabinets they built are classic and timeless. Jim took my dreams and ideas and was able to make them come true. I especially love the 2 sided bar they built for us. One side is countertop height in the kitchen and the other side is bar height, they used gorgeous seeded glass in the doors so we could show off our platters and wine glasses. Still, 3 years later, everyone who comes to our house complements our kitchen... Especially the cabinets!”

“This place is a LIFE SAVER if you have a kid playing a sport!! PHEWWWWW thank goodness... Let me tell you this place is not the closest BUT its helpful and cheaper than DICKS or ACADEMY so dont count them out! They are off the parkway and the parking is open and easy to get in and out!!! The store itself is spacious and offers A LOT of supplies for your sport needs...I needed a pair of football pants for a BIG guy and no other store had the size I needed but THANKFULLY I found them here and at a fraction of the price I paid for a girdle in DICKS... wish I would have known about this place before I TORE OUT MOST OF MY HAIR lol When I called and asked the nice lady who answered the phone for help she was quick and efficient.. She let me know they had what I needed I told her I would be RIGHT THERE!!! and quess what?? She had them waiting for me and I didnt even ask her to do that!!! Hows that for customer service!!!! I adore a great customer service rep! and she will NEVER know how much I appreciated her for the help...SO I say all this to say ...if you need some sports gear...TRY HERE FIRST...this place just might save you some much needed spending money..especially durning Christmas time!!! “This was my first time in a Rally House. If you dont like sports, especially your local teams, then this place isn't for you.
I appreciate their local focus and their wide variety of stock. Yes, 80% of it is clothing and jerseys, but they have everything from St. Louis Blues hockey pucks to St. Louis Cardinals valve caps.
I didn't interact with the staff, but they sounded friendly in their interactions with others.
Give it a shot if you are looking for sports swag.”
