“We lived next to the “little store” for 8 years “back in the day” At that time (early 2000) the owners kept it pretty basic (beer, candy, a few boxed foods) and that’s about it. Originally you could smoke inside and the couple who owned it, had a pet monkey that hung out at the register. The monkey did not smoke or make change. I always thought wouldn’t it be brilliant if someone made this a deli?!? Which is what someone did. Absolutely LOVELY business! Favorite Saturday activity is to take my kiddo on the paved trails behind the store along Line Creek/mini railroad then stuff our faces with the many amazing deli choices the “little store” has. We always take extra items back home for later but end up eating on drive home. Food items are bomb, prices are reasonable (cash discount) and the staff is really cool. Love seeing them thrive. Also love that this community said NO to the QT being put in nearby and YES to supporting this gem! I’d love to see them feature even more local items.”
“Definitely a hidden gem! Prepare to be amazed with selection & service…. Perfect store for any last minute gift ideas. They have everything you can imagine.”
“This is the go-to place for spices—there's no doubt about it! I needed to replace my entire spice collection, and the owners were incredibly helpful. They even provide containers and labels. I spent nearly an hour exploring their extensive spice selection after gathering my list. They have every spice imaginable, and their process is easy, straightforward, and affordable—truly unbeatable! Words cannot thoroughly express the gratitude I have for the ownership and their collection; it's impossible to beat a local spot of this caliber.”
“They have every Mexican Latin Ingredient ls there its always packed with La Raza and when its packed they have very fresh and delicious food and to make especially Ingredients you may need in a Hispanic/Latino household. Its perfect!”
“I've been going to this store for a while now and I'm surprised that I haven't done a review by now. This is a great store probably the best small halal store I've been to and I've been on the road in different states. I've shopped at many different halal stores. This is by far the best of the smaller stores.
The owners are very nice, friendly ,very helpful and knowledgeable about the store and their products. They make me feel welcomed every time I shop there. I really appreciate them so if you want some good halal food from a good halal store shop here.”
“My wife loves this place. To me its a haphazard mess. But its like going to a small market in Ho Chi Minh City. Lot of authentic Asian stuff you cant get at grocery stores and lots of produce that you cant find at a chain store.”
“Happy Foods North not only had Super Quality Meats, they had an awesome selection of fresh fruits and veggies. Amazing rarely seen canned foods and the customer service from employees was amazing! Even the customers were friendly!”

“A small but decent location. On the Kansas side so limited alcohol. They also don't get all of the specials. Stock seems to be hit or miss compared to some items at other locations.”
“Sprouts always have the best deals in the back by the bathrooms, on sale items for up to 75% off. You can find a lot of good snacks here for next to nothing, the store overall is pricey, but if you go at the right time. Those manager specials are very nice!”
“I visited last night to pick up some tzatziki, Kylie and Khloe both helped me. They were both very welcoming and helpful! They found exactly what I was looking for super quickly and knew a lot about the store/products. I accidentally left my phone on the register and Khloe ran it out to me before I even got out of my car! Excellent staff I will definitely be back.”
“Awesome store an Manager. We bobtailed over to get groceries and supplies. The Walmart next door said No!! They told us if we can find a safe place to park come on over. Very friendly store.”
“They have so many different foods to choose from. Their meats that they have available is incredible and it seems like they carry German made foods there too! Don't forget your quarter to get a shopping cart! I believe their prices beat Walmart, price chopper, Hy-Vee, and sun fresh. Recommend you to explore this place to what they have”
“They should just change the name to Whole Prices Market. Nothing exceptional about the quality of product and the prices are sky-high. I go in there to return Amazon and maybe pick up one or two items to save time. Would never-ever do all my shopping here”
“I was presently surprised at their hot food items!! The grilled chicken and spicy roasted potatoes!!!!!!!!! I come just for THAT.... Even tho I end up paying $28 for enough dinner for my daughter and I.... But pricey but when I'm pressed on time, they always have my go to!”
“This store has helpful courteous staff. Thier fresh baked (daily) bread is the best I have had. They have an on site butcher and a bakery that surpasses the one at P.C. Produce dept. is great too! The isle are a bit narrow. Prices are mostly reasonable.”
“A very nice natural grocery store has a big selection of items if your in the market for different produce and meats kinda pricey but you pay for the natural choice”
“This store is very clean and has a great selection of products. The only downside is that the store is organized in an unusual way compared to other Price Choppers so it's tough to find common products.”
“This establishment offers excellent service and high-quality food, truly enhancing the shopping experience. I find myself thoroughly enjoying my visits and the overall offerings. It's a pleasure to patronize a place that consistently delivers on both fronts. The attention to detail in their provisions is truly commendable. I look forward to continuing my patronage here.”

“They sell a variety of items from India. All kinds of rice, spices, pre-made naan breads, deserts, snacks, and drinks. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very helpful. Its a neighborhood store with an east coast feel. If you're looking for foods from India and you live 20 miles away, its worth the drive.”
“Phenomenal store for the size of it. Stopped in during my lunch break and grabbed a warm meal. It was delicious (no, I don’t work for Hy-Vee). I grabbed a tenderloin sandwich with tots. They cooked the tots fresh and served it all right to my table. Kudos to them!”
“First time there, as I live down in Olathe, and the staff was super friendly and the selection was great. Pretty standard pricing. I would visit again if I'm in the area.”
“Great little grocery store with a nice variety of products from Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Mexico. It’s a unique spot with a lot to offer, but it does get very crowded, making it difficult to move through the aisles.
The biggest issue was pricing—many items didn’t have visible price tags or shelf labels, which made it hard to shop confidently. We ended up skipping several products because we couldn’t find the price. With better organization and clearer labeling, this place could be even better.”
“There was a guy seemingly following me around the store being a little sus and the security guard must have picked up on me nervously watching him because as I was bagging my stuff up and heading to my car, the security guard followed me out. I didnt even have to say anything.. he nonchalantly just followed me to my car and stayed until I had safely put my groceries in my car and got in. Great awareness and i was so relieved I really wish I remembered his name.”
“The food was excellent but the atmosphere sucks. One table at the back with lots of garbage and old stuff around. I had to share the table with another family. Come on take the corona virus distance signs down it has been 5 years. Major cleaning and re organization needed.”
“I called this place to check inventory and the clerk was very experienced and knowledgeable. Than he recognized me when I came in and we had a good conversation. He spotted me 45cents that I will make a point to pay back as soon as I can. Great place, good location, and fair prices. A must stop shop on the avenue!!”
“The calm before the (alleged) snow storm. Busy but not overly, meat dept was well picked over but all seemed normal.
Edit - nice spring day weekend. Busy but pretty well stocked.”

“Great selection, store is organized and clean. Had a female check me out at the register last time I was there and she was just awful. Her attitude was more than terrible, she snapped at me and acted like I was trash. I brought own bag so she threw my things into the cart next to her and made me load my bag after grabbing the cart with her hand and saying something like no, this is my cart you can't have this cart. I was under the impression I could move the cart two feet to the bagging counter to remove my 10 items and give her the cart right back. She continued to ring up the next customer and put their items into the same cart like I was invisible. It was awkward and weird. The customers behind me didn't have a cart either and she let them use that cart for their groceries after she rang them up. Unnecessary and rude.”
“Most folks in my neighborhood use this Aldi store for most of their groceries. Usually it's clean and well-stocked (when the place is packed on Friday evenings, well, it's hard for staff to keep up - as one would expect). My Tuesday noontide visit was quick, the cashier efficient. Great store. Use it.”
“The checkers here can be a bit rude. I know they are trying to keep the lines moving but you feel so rushed to get your groceries it almost makes me anxious. The parking lot is so busy too. Has a good selection of items.”
“Fantastic deli/counter lunch service. Mac & Cheese is the best I have ever tasted. Tried the Chinese entree on Wednesday and the Orange Chicken with fried rice was $5 and tasty and a good portion. Have a fairly new loyalty program. A year old but no one ever told me about it.”
