“We were there around 8pm last saturday night and honestly this place was so cool. Got all of our vaca snacks here and everyone was very friendly, our cashier who was an older lady was so incredibly sweet I wished I knew her name because she was amazing.”

“This is the only place my family shops. Whether we go in or we do curbside, it’s always a good experience. We are a dye free family and this location has TONS of dye free options! Produce is always fresh, the meat selection is good. Way better quality than Walmart for sure. Some reviews mentioned the lack of name brand items, but honestly we prefer Aldis brand versus major corporation brands. The ingredients are usually better, no synthetic dyes or high fructose corn syrup. Self check out is easy and never have had a run in with a rude employee.”
“This place was amazing, me and my friends went in to look around is all and Caleb (sorry if I mispelled) was an amazing worker and even convinced me to try purgatory and he had so much knowledge about the hot sauce and spices and the perfect combination between them two honestly made this such a wonderful time an amazing worker would come again”
“Myra was amazing! I came into the bakery on the fly to get three dozen donuts and she had them ready for me within 10 minutes, the donuts were nice and fluffy warm and perfectly glazed, she even put green ribbon on it for me for 420 celebrations!”
“Donna is a fantastic manager and should be kept at all costs. Day crew has improved significantly since she took over and so has the store overall. The problem lies with the people who primarily work night shift. They either void transactions or pocket the change when you tell them to make sure their drawers are even or slightly over. I know they need employees that are reliable and can run a tight ship but those ones aren't it. Drug testing should be made mandatory upon hiring.”

“I visit family in this town and enjoy stopping by the country mart. It hasn't changed much from when I was a kid (except the prices, as all places have). They do have a Starbucks now and they gave me a 1$ off a drink coupon after checking out with my groceries. They have a big selection of most categories but I really appreciate the produce and deli. The dairy aisle is excellent and you can find stuff here that walmart sometimes doesn't even have, like multiple flavors of kefir. They also have a really wide range of alcohol. I always find what I want in here.”

“Retail 101:
When you have one customer waiting with only two items, it should probably be more of a priority that you take care of that customer quickly, then go back to whatever management things you were doing with your supervisor or your vendor in the back office-- which is just behind the cash register where the customers can hear what's going on--
Rather than saying you'll be out in just a moment and actually taking multiple minutes...
By the time that I gave up and left, my transaction could have been taken care of two or three times over or more, honestly. My transaction probably would have taken all of thirty seconds... And then they could quickly return to what they were doing.
It wasn't the worst experience ever, but it certainly goes against efficient retail protocol and showing a customer they are valued. Unfortunately today's actions said "what we are currently doing is more important than one waiting customer during a non-busy hour in the store".
I know retail can be stressful (!), but this is one of those easy quick things that could have been taken care of a little bit better. So i'm leaving this review hoping that they take notice and realize its importance. It's a little thing that can add up.
I'm giving this more stars than it probably deserves, because I'm not trying to be mean, but rather point out in area that could use some improvement.”

“You know how many food items have relatively arbitrary expiration dates because it's required by the FDA? You can buy those expired items here. The unopened bag of chips that is 2 months past its date? They are still good and only $1.99 here instead of $4.99! It's all about managing expectations. You don't compare this store with the usual grocery store. It has a niche. I wish there was a store like it near me.”

“Me and my friend is extreme couponers and we came in Sat the 14th in afternoon, was greeted awesome, store was so put together nicely, the man (didn't catch his name) but he looked like a hippy had glasses on(not in a bad way awesome man) he was so friendly, and seemed very welcoming and was helpful to questions about Branson we had. He is a very great worker........and nice store”
“I appreciate the location of this store. All the associates are very kind and helpful when needed! Lyndsey especially I have seen be very patient and keep her cool in situations that would have sent me over the edge. People really can be so rude over nothing these days, kindness goes a long way. It’s my favorite DG in Branson. I coupon on Saturdays and they never make me feel like burden for doing more than one transaction. I appreciate yall!”
