“Not only do they have a wonderful place to eat breakfast lunch or dinner inside bought the selection of foods in various items are wonderful we wound up buying mums .”
“The store was stocked with good selection. But more notably, I want to shout out the employee who was seemingly cashing everyone out by himself on Saturday, August 30th. Thomas did everything with a smile and uniquely interacted with each and every one of his customers despite a continuously long line. He was a pleasure to meet and I would love if every place I walked into had employees with his positive attitude. He was also very helpful and respectful as well. I think he deserves a raise. !! ?”
“Easy in and out! No struggle in finding a parking place close to the entrance. I can always find what I'm looking for. The produce is fresh and has a good variety. The staff is helpful and friendly.”

“What I appreciate about Kroger is that not only do they have a large variety of food and other useful items , but that every once in a while they have some amazing specials that no other store can beat , so that makes Kroger important to means my family. Please keep up the great work Kroger !”
“This Dollar General area is really good, although this is just a Dollar General, it is a really good one if you're on a road trip or something, all of these usually have nice employees, I've been to this one basically since it first opened.”
“Dropped in there to grab a few things for trout fishing. Had various flies, little Rooster Tails, other trout lures/bait, fly line and other stuff for fly rods. While not a huge selection, it is enough basic items to get a person started. I bought a dry fly kit (Cortland brand) and I caught several trout with them at Montauk State Park.”
“This particular Dollar General is unique to me in that it actually sells produce? This store is about 3 miles from the town that I reside in and it is a nicely laid out store that is very clean and the employees are really nice and helpful. The 3 Dollar Generals in my town do not offer produce, yet. It is so much easier to zip into a Dollar General, get all of what you are shopping for, than going to Walmart where you try to get a parking space as close to the doors as possible, deal with so many people and have to do a lot of legwork to get your grocery shopping done. So my town needs to sell produce in one of their Dollar General's. I much prefer to shop at DG, than going to Walmart. I like to get in and out of the store quickly and I can do that shopping at Dollar General.”
“Julie was super helpful and kind. 5 star Service and helpfulness
If every dollar store employee was like Julie, Walmart would be out of business. Thank you for you patience and kindness navigating the store and allowing me get the critical items I needed!”
“If you've been to Aldi's before, this review isn't going to help you out at all.
If you're still reading, I recommend that you go with someone that's been to Aldi's before on your first time or you may be a little frustrated with your experience.
Let's start with the fact that they hold shopping carts for ransom. If you want a shopping cart, you're going to either need a quarter to free a shopping cart from the cart prison, or a randomly generous fellow shopper who will do a secretive handoff to you outside the store. Now if you go with a Aldi fanatic, you're going to see
them whip out their dedicated Aldi quarter and act like they do this sort of thing all the time and it's totally normal.
Let's go inside the store now. If you have a cart, rejoice because this will make things a bit simpler, but either way, they do not have any bags, so again, you will either need to pre-plan and bring your own shopping bags (which seems a bit like bringing your own takehome box to the restaurant), or you're going to be hoping you can beat the other shoppers to the few good boxes in the empty box bin (if earlier shoppers haven't already left you high and dry). If they are out of good boxes and you didn't bring bags, you're going to wind up in this super awkward position where you have a bunch of random loose groceries that you now need to determine if you're going to present your vehicle is a grocery store shelf and try to nearly stack your haul like it was on the shelf, or if you throw caution and reason to the wind and just dump everything haphazardly into your car and deal with this mess at home.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Aldi has some normal-ish grocery store sections and then some odd sections where you may find a random assortment of items. Aldi fanatics will wax poetic about their Aldi finds, Aldi brands, and Aldi savings, but in my personal experience, everything is a mixed bag--except their lack of bags of course. Some things are cheaper at Aldi, but not everything. Same with flavor. We tried the Aldi brand of frozen seasoned burgers and compared to Walmart brand, the Aldi brand was gross. Other things from Aldi are really good, so you will just have to judge for yourself.
So let's finish with checkout. For some reason, checkout is also a bit odd and people can also get really weird around the checkout area. It may have something to do with trying to judge if you got enough and good enough boxes to pack your stuff in, and then when you're checking out, if you have some awkward shaped boxes, it's going to feel like you now have to play Tetris with your groceries at a boss level to pass the level and be granted exit from the store.”
