“I will NEVER shop at Home Depot or Lowe’s again unless I’m forced to for some reason. Schnars has 10/10 customer service. Let me tell you about my great experience.I needed a new weed eater so I walked into Schnars. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I believe is named Jacob. Not in an aggressive sales way, but more of a helpful greeting.I set my sight on what looked like a pretty good deal, but was kindly directed to an even better deal which would save me money and get me a blower, weed eater, and 2 batteries for a great price, which turned out to be an obvious choice. They threw in a free Echo hat just because they are nice . Honestly, I needed another hat, so I was happy.Turns out I forgot the second battery that came with the set. A few hours later I was SHOCKED to see that the same gentleman showed up to my door step just to personally deliver the battery to me. Who even gives such great customer service anymore?Anyway, I felt compelled to leave this review because I’ve now been there like 10 times and have had a great experience each time.”

“What an amazing store! The staff here are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I made several trips when moving into the neighborhood and they assisted me with the smallest of items yet their inventory is massive. Not many places exist like this anymore….no wonder they has been in business (at this same location) since 1914. They are fantastic! Thank you, Todd and Joseph!”

“Steve was the best. He helped us find a new faucet cartridge for our shower, even gave us a piece of sandpaper to get rid of the calcium buildup. When the cartridge we bought was the wrong fit (our fault) he called a guy he knew at a local plumbing company (Milford Plumbing Supply) to have them find the part we needed and set it aside for us to pick up. AMAZING customer service, loved him. The nice lady at the counter was very helpful too with the return. Overall great experience.”

Helpful staff: While I search for my selections, a staff member will ask if I need anything. The best part? When I tell them I don't need help, they let me know they'll be around if needed....and they leave me be. THAT'S listening to the customer.

“Most helpful, knowledgeable hardware store I have ever experienced. Shop there all the time and have been doing so for years. I can get in and out in a matter of a few minutes. Contrast that to big box stores where you can get your daily walking requirement in before you find what you need or before you can talk to an employee. And most big box employees are not very knowledgeable.”
“I always love shopping here even if I end up not getting anything. At least as much as most guys enjoy seeing all the tools and assorted lawn equipment. The service is very friendly and professional and they always ask me if I need help. They are awesome and the best!!”

“Just Around The Corner Wood Floors made the experience so much easier. Wayne Brooks did an excellent job consulting and educating me about the process and dividing the work into two different sections so it would be the least disruptive in my life. Mark, David, Jake, Brian, Dave, Ryan, Todd, and Jacob all worked on the floors for many days. Some of the wood panels had to be replaced. The workers went above and beyond , even putting out food and water for my pets because they knew I wouldn’t be there in the early morning. I would definitely hire them for work in the future!”
“We ordered a toaster because we didn't want to buy one from a big box store, then we came back to have hedge clippers sharpened. They did such a great job that we came back with clippers. Next will be the secateurs.
