“The short version of my story is that Phillips Automotive treated me with respect, gave me honest and correct assessments, got my car fixed in a timely manner, and charged fair prices. The details set them apart: I noticed on my bill that Mike had taken meticulous notes about the problems I was reporting. As a woman, I value this because it means they took my concerns at face value instead of assuming I didn't know what was happening. My husband had let the car get down to fumes before it started sputtering, so these guys put a little fuel in (they appropriately charged me for it, of course, and I had told them that they had my permission first). How do I know they're honest? Well, two other shops (in other towns) had not listened to me when I said that I thought I'd gotten a bad spark plug job at the Honda dealer in Columbia (don't let my heels and skirts fool you, because I know my way around a car—the basics, at least). They told me not to worry my pretty little head and I should just put in fuel injector cleaner. **Phillips Automotive** said yep, it was spark plugs (I didn't even tell them that this was my theory because I let the other shops convince me that I was wrong). They stayed in communication with me about it and charged a fair price for the diagnosis and repair. Ladies, it's safe to give Phillips a try!”

“My first experience with Alpha Auto was less than a positive one with miscommunication. But the owner reached out to me, apologized, and wanted to make up for it. He offered me another vehicle he knew I might be interested in at even a more discounted price. I was hesitant at first but I believe in second chances and it also meant something to me that he reached out to try to correct a mistake. I made another 2 hour trip there and I had the vehicle checked out by an independent third party. I was advised the vehicle was fixed very well and they were impressed with the quality work done. Vehicle is like new again with a great price. I now have no reserve to buy from them again and in fact I'm sure I will be buying another vehicle from them within the next year. Update: I have now bought a second vehicle from Alpha Auto and I'm totally happy with both vehicles.”

“We diagnosed the engines ac system...the ac lines were cut and gapped...The conveter was attatched to the wrong system ...ie...evap...engine light says leaking evap....to the muffler....serpentine belt....is old....dry.Sqealing... Lower intake gaskets are. Broken...as in...gone....no gaskets at all...Egr valve is missing....Most of the repairs are flat bay repairs....The exauhst system is a lift.Ill be scheduling time to fix my car if i make it...well see....Diagnostics were thorough...as in...fact based.no lies....at diy...Very good....excellent.....Mastery....”
