They seem to care for every single animal that comes through the door. I have been there many many times, and will continue to go back. This is just a spay and neuter clinic. They do offer shots at time of service, which is nice.

They were also very compassionate when I had to let my beloved Emerald go because of cancer. I find them reasonably priced also.

SedaliaPettis County K9 Academy is the only dog trainer I would recommend. Both of our dogs are rescues with traumatic pasts. It was only possible through Brads help and excellent instruction that they achieved their AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification and became happy, balanced, well socialized dogs. Brad is very professional and is great with dogs as well as their owners. He has an impressive facility and offers a variety of classes for every level of training desired.

The place had a cool vibe — kind of a mix between a sports bar and a rustic restaurant, and I really liked the overall atmosphere. It felt comfortable, casual, and like a good place to hang out for a meal. The staff was also very friendly, with plenty of waitresses and hostesses visible and keeping things moving. ?
The menu had a wide variety of options, but I ended up settling on whatwas the V Burger, and I’m glad I did. Very rarely do I get a burger and not feel the need to add extra condiments, but this one was perfectly “condimented” — or maybe “condondated,” if we’re inventing a new word. Either way, it had exactly the right amount of sauce and toppings. ?✨
One of the best parts of the burger was the grilled banana peppers. When banana peppers are grilled, they bring out a little sweetness, caramelization, and an amazing aroma that really adds something special. They gave the burger a great flavor without overpowering it. ?️?
The fries were also great and looked to be homemade, which was a nice bonus. ?
My only small critique is that the burger patty was a little thinner than what I’m used to, and they did not ask how I wanted it cooked. It came well done, which may just be more common in Missouri, but where I’m from, we tend to enjoy burgers a little thicker and cooked a little less. That being said, the burger was still absolutely amazing and full of flavor.
Overall, I really enjoyed Volker’s Eatery and Pub. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, a varied menu, excellent fries, and a burger that was surprisingly memorable. I’d definitely go back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
